We chose this accommodation mainly because of the price, and it turned out to be a good decision. The room and furnishings are a bit dated, but perfectly fine for an overnight stay.||What bothered us a little was the loud disco held on the ground floor until late at night. On the other hand, the morning pancakes served downstairs were a very nice touch. Beach equipment is also available for guests to borrow (though I can’t comment on its quality or quantity).||Instead of a regular key, you get a wristband, which is a clever and convenient idea — someone really thought it through!||Overall, a good experience and definitely recommended.
I had a pretty good stay here. The location is awesome. Morning breakfast is pancakes. The staff was very helpful. There’s a lot of gear you can rent. There’s a basketball court and lounge area. My 8bed female room even had a patio, which was helpful to dry clothes. They also held my bag after check out temporarily. For the price and experience it was a good stay.
This is one of the best hotels I’ve stain in around the world. They have a lot of things to do. People are really nice to stuff. It’s really nice. They have snowboards for free so you can take the snorkel. They have a little boards. They have everything You Need For You’re like really complete. Hawaii Experience. Having a beach towels and room towels is a really plus for me and add. The location is amazing. You can literally walk two minutes to the beach. It’s not that crowded the rest of Waikiki. And it’s really well connected through the public service bus. You can literally get there from the airport until the host in one bus. And will you only have to walk like a couple blocks so it’s really really nice. Totally recommended
The place is clean, beds are decent and rooms are clean. The staff are lovely and helpful. You can borrow stuff for the beach for free, free pancake Breakie and coffee, and towels to use. They organized activities and have tours you can book. Overall, little older building, but they keep it clean and can’t complain.
Spent one week at Waikīkī beachside hostel and it was a blast. The rooms were clean and comfortable. House keeping cleans them daily. It is really easy making friends. I made some really good friends, just meeting them in the lounge area. Don’t miss karaoke night it’s a blast. The manager is awesome and she will help you with anything you may need! Overall a great stay and definitely didn’t want to leave!
This is easily one of the worst hostels I’ve ever stayed in. For the price they charge, the quality is honestly embarrassing. You are paying far more than this place is worth. The rooms are rundown, poorly maintained, and feel neglected. There is only one shared kitchen, and pots and utensils constantly disappear. Staff are aware and do absolutely nothing about it. Check-in was painfully slow, and some of the reception staff were rude, dismissive, and unprofessional — not exactly the welcome you expect when you’re paying these prices. You’re not allowed to bring a scooter inside and must leave it outside, with no secure alternative provided. For a place that claims to cater to travelers, this makes no sense. Rooms are not cleaned daily, and overall cleanliness standards are far below basic expectations. I also paid extra in advance for breakfast, only to find out it’s included for everyone anyway — and nobody even checks. Completely misleading and poorly managed. To top it off, before I checked out, they left a paper with my name on the 4th floor and I had to go upstairs myself to retrieve it. That level of disorganization says everything. This place survives purely because of its location, not because of its quality. There are far better options in Waikiki for the same price. Avoid it.
You can't beat the location. Best bang for your buck! Minutes from the beach and lots of good restaurants. Also, easy to get to bus lines to explore other parts of island. Customer service is always perfect. Most likeable staff. Bonus: free pancakes for breakfast every morning.
