The Waterfront Beach Resort, a Hilton Hotel

You can imagine the beautiful ocean views from the room balcony, the rooftop bar or the swimming pool. Service is amazing from everyone. Not to thrilled with valet parking being the only option. I like to know where my car is parked in case I need anything from it. The only negative of my stay was the mattress. It did not live up to the Hilton standard and the reason for a four star review. All in all it's a nice place to stay, especially since the beach is directly across the street! They have beach equipment you can use to enjoy your time at the beach. They are pet friendly and allow dogs to stay. The rooftop bar was nice and relaxing. I added some pictures of their saute appetizer and their Asian salad.

Stayed at the Waterfront Beach Resort and honestly loved it. The location is unbeatable—steps from the beach with gorgeous ocean views. The rooms were clean, comfy, and felt like a true resort stay without being stuffy. The pool area was a vibe, and it was easy to actually relax here (which doesn’t always happen on "relaxing" trips). Staff was friendly and helpful, and everything felt well-run. Perfect spot for a beachy getaway, staycation, or weekend reset. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff at this hotel truly made a world of difference during my stay! I want to give a special shout-out to Jimmi from Security for his above-and-beyond service. He assisted me with a room delivery and a special request with such grace, making it a top priority to ensure I was taken care of. I also had the pleasure of being assisted by Rune, who was kind enough to drive me on an errand. He was incredibly accommodating and made the task completely stress-free. It’s rare to find this level of genuine care and hospitality—their efforts definitely did not go unnoticed. Thank you, Jimmi and Rune, for all your help! You made my stay exceptional.

This place is great with incredible customer service. We are in the midst of our stay. First, we are Diamond members and know room upgrades are hit and miss. The lady at the front desk, Paisley (I hope that’s her name. White/blonde lady) really fought for us and got us an upgrade. She prob took 5 minutes and was intently trying. Beautiful ocean front suite (pic below). So big shout out to her. Then we went to Henry’s for dinner and Tony greeted us he’s the general manger and the nicest guy. Gave us a free appetizer and an anniversary dessert. Our server Kyle was awesome too! So far the service has been first class, I’d argue for hiltons probably better than the Waldorf’s we have stayed at. Thank you HH for making me and my wife’s anniversary getaway so special.

I’m a Hilton Silver member, and this experience completely ruined my trust in Hilton. Before booking, I was clearly told that this hotel accepts Emotional Support Animals. Based on that information, I decided to bring my dog. However, upon arrival, I was unexpectedly charged a pet fee. When I complained, the hotel staff said that under California law, they are allowed to charge for Emotional Support Animals. If that’s the case, then don’t advertise or tell guests that ESAs are accepted without clearly disclosing the additional charges. Had I known there would be a fee, I would never have brought my dog or chosen this hotel in the first place. This felt misleading and honestly like a waste of money. What makes this even more frustrating is that I stayed at a Hyatt hotel for two nights immediately after, and when I explained that my dog is an Emotional Support Animal, they removed the pet fee with no issue at all. For anyone traveling with a dog or an Emotional Support Animal: I strongly do NOT recommend this Hilton property. Save yourself the stress and go to Hyatt instead. This experience has completely turned me off from Hilton, and I don’t see myself staying with them again.

Rooms and location is great but service is bad. I made my own coffee and stepped away a few seconds to grab cutlery, the person cleared my coffee and snobed me by saying just go and make another one. It's my special blend and they didn't even ask before clearing when the cup is piping hot and full
