Hotel O Haven Inn Huntsville AL US 72

The outside definitely looks better than the inside. The hotel was quiet and convenient to pretty much anything you need. The front desk lady was very polite and attentive. We checked in with no issues. We got into the room, and it was very outdated. The bed was ok. I would give it a 5/10. For the price I wasn’t expecting much. However, the room was just nasty. If they were to do some so little upgrades like tear out the carpet, get ride of the nasty stained up chairs in the room, wipe down the walls, and get rid of the moldy shower curtain it would be a decent stay. We would consider staying again if we ever go back to Alabama, if we knew the rooms were cleaned. I will provide pictures.

Booked online. When I arrived, they said that the payment from Booking had not processed so they could not give me my room. Finally someone showed up and gave me my room. I booked a room with a KING bed. When I got to the room it was a full size bed. The door would not shut unless you pushed really hard on it then locked the deadbolt You could see daylight and the night time street lights under the door. The gap was so large that if it rained the carpet would be wet. The room smelled of mold and mildew. The bed was worn out to the point where when you laid on it you could feel the metal frame it was on. The bathroom was tiny. I had to remove the shower head to get water out of the faucet. On top of that there was no hair dryer to dry your hair with. When I tried to speak with the people in the office the response I got was that all the door looked that way, and that according to their records that was a KING size bed, and that they were just the worker. They did not own the place so my complaints didn't matter to them. Also they mention that this was their best room, the room everyone asks for. Stay away from this location.

Been staying here on an off for over. A decade. And I can say I can look past little minor things especially when I was going through some bad times years ago and the old owners and Keith tried to help me but because of the abuse I was going through it was out of fear I wasn't able to let them. I missed a good opportunity. I at the time prolly lived here for almost a full year . Now over decade later .. The newer folks I am just meeting are great. Keith still humble as ever. If I was ever offered the opportunity. That was offered long ago I'd take it in a heartbeat because I'm again in a bad spot trying to get my life together. The other week I accidently locked myself in the laundry room. LMFAO and had to call the front to help and it' was actually funny. Keith came to save the day. They really have cleaned up a lot. There is only a handful of hotel motels I even feel comfortable stepping foot on and or staying in and this is one of them. If I could I'd work here and live here to come back up and afterwards I'd still work here. There is like a almost family bond between the employees. And that's great. And I booked this time online and there was no issues just like any other time.

Spent the night with a friend because the front desk told me they don't rent by the week that late at night. Room was big, bigger TV, medium size fridge, vinyl plank flooring and recently painted. Outlets need to be replaced, they won't hold anything plugged in. Had to use the nightstand against the plug for light to stay in. Bathroom was clean and looked newer. I will give an update if I can get a weekly and the condition of the room....

Me and my family had a car problem so we had to walk to our car and we had to sit down at this establishment for just a little bit we were going to get a room in the next morning when we had money but management decided to be jerks and not listen to what I was saying and took offense for me saying God bless you tell rude uncaring person I will pray for him

I have lived here for 2 years, the manager does not have any respect for his tenants. This hotel has a weekly stay it is expensive. I have went without air conditioning for 2 days and night. My microwave broke and they couldn't get me another one at 7 p.m I had to wait. The amount of money I pay and on time every week I can't get some of the staff and the manager to do anything. They feel like they can run over you show not any professionalism. It's like they know you can't leave because rent is so high and you can't save any money. They would rather have drug dealers rent a week then be kind and do what they are supposed to do for people that live a clean life. Our wall had hole in it for for almost a year, there is mold bugs I suggest don't even rent a room for a night. Also I am so close to having a down payment at a place 2 bedroom 2 bath and washer and dryer and it's cheaper than what I pay here. Stay away the manager don't do his job is disrespectful let alone dare you ask for anything that is required in your rent. If I could give it -100 stard I would but I cant
