We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Place Huntsville / Research Park / Redstone. Our room was very nice, with a comfortable bed that made it easy to relax after a full day of exploring. The entire facility feels welcoming and well cared for, and the included continental breakfast was one of the best we’ve had while traveling. Everything looked freshly prepared, plentiful, and a great way to start the day. The hotel offers several convenient amenities, including a fitness center, on‑site dining options, and plenty of comfortable spaces to unwind. Parking is easy, and the staff keeps everything clean and running smoothly. The surrounding area is also a highlight. Located in the heart of the vibrant Research Park district, the hotel is close to great restaurants, shopping, and walking paths. It’s just a short drive to top attractions like the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Bridge Street Town Centre, and beautiful outdoor spaces around Redstone Arsenal. Overall, this Hyatt Place delivers comfort, convenience, and a genuinely pleasant atmosphere. We would gladly stay here again.
Hyatt Place Huntsville was truly outstanding. It was all elevated by the extraordinary customer service from Monica and Shawn. Monica, in particular, absolutely blew me away. I genuinely thought she was the General Manager because of her professionalism, leadership presence, and the way she anticipates guests’ needs before you even ask. She sets the tone for the entire experience. Her energy, attention to detail, and authentic care for guests are rare — and unforgettable. Shawn was equally impressive — friendly, attentive, and fully dialed in to making sure everything ran smoothly. Monica is honestly the sole reason I’m already looking forward to my next visit. If this is the standard at Hyatt Place Huntsville, they’re doing it right. Highly recommend!
Positive: Friendly employees in close proximity to Bridge Street shopping center Negative: Checked in and went to our 1st room on the 2nd floor. Mini fridge had a red bull can exploded and frozen, TV had chrome cast which the HDMI was unplugged and power cable broken. Went to use the phone (cordless) to call the desk and it was not charged.
Hotel had no running water at check in, lobby toilet had overlowed in ladies bathroom all over the floor. Strong odor at elevators, large stains on sofa cushions in room and their system had a glitch showing us checked out a day early and 2 different cleaning ladies walked in on my Son getting ready in his underwear. Hotel has many issues, witnessed multiple complaints at front desk. Nothing was offered for the terrible experience.
Disappointing. The location is great, and the room was fine. However, our room was rarely cleaned. We had to beg for towels 4 days in a row. In addition, the breakfast, which costs extra, was bad. They were regularly out of food, utensils, and/or coffee.
Omg 🥰 is an understatement. This stay was one of the best. Ragen the front desk attendant was amazing. Her attitude was amazing. I love great customer service and she was by far the best. The ladies in the morning also very warm and friendly. This will be my hotel of choice whenever I’m in Huntsville. Thank you ladies truly. Job well done.
Just had the luxury horror-mystery experience of my life at this hotel. I booked a two-night stay, supposed to check out on Dec 5th. On Dec 4th, I stepped out for a few hours to visit clients… and came back to find a random woman fully moved into my room. According to the hotel’s "genius" system: "Oh, you booked until Dec 5? Let’s just check you out early without telling you. What could possibly go wrong?" Well, here’s what: All. My. Belongings. Were. Gone. The hotel said housekeeping "threw everything away." Amazing — they can’t keep track of living guests, but they dispose of luggage with Olympic speed. And because this hotel has zero security cameras, even the police had nothing to review. Perfect for anyone craving a real-life mystery thriller. Too bad I didn’t sign up for one. Their solution? A free room upgrade or two extra nights. Yes, apparently losing all my belongings is equivalent to getting a bigger room. What a fascinating economy they operate in. And it turns out I’m not even the only one. Other guests reported stolen items, and some even had staff walk in while they were naked. At this point, the hotel feels less like hospitality and more like a poorly managed social experiment. If you’re thinking about staying here: Don’t. Just don’t. Sleep in your car, book anywhere else, or camp outside — all statistically safer than staying here. But rest assured, I’m taking this all the way. They auto-checked-out the wrong person.
