SureStay by Best Western Huntsville University Area

The hotel has recently been remodeled. The room was clean, spacious, and bedding was very comfortable. There was no road noise even though our room was close to the front of the hotel. The front desk staff was cheerful, helpful, and very accommodating to our requests. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely stay here again. The price point will help us to stay longer to visit our family in the area.

Even the heat and air filters were clean. Some wear and tear on the carpet but looked super clean. No shortage of light in the room. Not only were the bulbs bright and white but there were many, unlike other scarce, dim, dingy, yellow lights at some other motels. Nice quiet, safe location across from University of Alabama Huntsville, UAH. Nearly instant hot water and plenty of it for a long shower. Courteous and professional desk clerk. No strangers lurking outside like some motels further down the hwy. Towels would benefit from some fabric softener so if that's a concern you might want to bring your own.

We travel a lot so I booked this room based of off such good reviews and this the first time I felt like I was lied to. Don't know how this place has 4.5 star reviews. Location is sketchy. Sheets are dirty. Under the bed it's dirty. Bathroom has weird stains everywhere. My nose was stuffed so l can't comment on the smell honestly. Also they left us one bar of soap- nothing else. You could stay somewhere way better for $10 more.

It's a humble but very well-run motel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the management is SO friendly and eager to help! Good water pressure and temperature, decent WiFi, and plentiful parking. Breakfast is a little bit on the simpler side. I'd happily stay here again.

These people are amazing. When I first arrived, I didn’t even have to go inside to check in, because the kind receptionist saw me wrestling my wheelchair out of my car, and came outside and asked for my ID and card and checked me in! I was initially going to be traveling with another person, but that fell through, so I was alone. Since I didn’t need two beds, I’m disabled, and they had an accessible room with one bed available, they switched me to that room, so I had a much nicer room than expected that I had an easier time getting around with my mobility issues. The continental breakfast is delicious. Every staff person I met was kind. They also held the door for me to make it easier to get in and out with the wheelchair when I went to the area with the front desk and the continental breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel. It is very nice! The beds are comfortable. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room if you pack all the lunches and dinners you will eat while traveling, like I did. The bathroom was nice and clean, and the accessible shower had a shower chair, so I didn’t have to put a trash bag over my collapsible stool to sit in the shower.

Great people, they are always friendly and accommodating to me. I stay here religiously when working in the area. The whole facility is in immaculate shape the area is safe and quiet and right near everything on University! I can’t say enough good things about these owners, they are always on their game!!! ❤️
