Woodstock Inn Bed & Breakfast

Comfortable bed, super quiet room, and a great place to spend the night. I stayed in the Morocco room. Nothing was particularly special about my experience. There are a couple small things that should be fixed in the room, like a little hole in the bathroom door. I like to set outside with some coffee in the mornings. The courtyard was, unfortunately, not kept here and there. There were piles of lumbar under tarps, a pile of fishing poles and other odds and ends, fake plants, mostly folding chairs to sit on. Generally better to spend your time here inside. Breakfast was high quality and tasty but nothing super special that I wouldnt make myself on a Saturday morning. I wouldn't avoid but I'd also look to try another place next trip.

Room was comfortable and beautiful. Wonderful host and the breakfast was amazing. Loved the garden area out back. Close to everything we wanted to do in town.

Rooms were clean and breakfast was made with lots of love. Checkout staff were super kind and answered any questions we had during our stay. We had a huge family gathering and it was great to have the space for us all to be together for the holiday weekend.

Woodstock Inn is wonderful! One of our favorite bed and breakfast places. We stayed for 3 nights in their Scottish Room, a little bit larger with a cozy sitting area. So comfortable! Our breakfasts were delicious and different each day. The innkeepers are friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our BBQ restaurant leftovers one evening in the picnic area in the yard. Woodstock is in a convenient location to the Truman Presidential Museum as well as other Independence sites, and also near Kansas City. Fellow travelers stayed there for Royals games. When we’re back in the area, Woodstock Inn will be our choice!

We stayed for 2 nights in this lovely inn. Beautiful surrounding area. Quiet and convenient to historic sites. There is an area close by for dining...actually within a mile. Not a very large area but they had some nice choices for eating out. The Inn was so welcoming and the accommodations were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Fresh baked cookies in the late afternoon were a nice treat. Our innkeeper Sarah was friendly, professional and eager to accommodate our specific requests. Would definitely recommend Woodstock Inn B and B.

My wife and I stay at Woodstock Inn Bed & Breakfast every time we're in the Kansas City area. We always feel very welcome by the staff, and we just love the unique flavor of each room! There is such attention to detail with every aspect of each stay. It's always very clean, the staff is always very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is always the best! We'll continue to stay each time we're nearby!!
