The Alexander, Autograph Collection

Five stars, without hesitation. I stayed here while meeting up with friends visiting from Chicago, and The Alexander absolutely set the tone for the whole experience. From the moment I arrived, the service felt effortless but intentional, the kind of hospitality where you don’t have to ask twice for anything because they’re already ahead of you. The bar was incredible. Great energy, expertly made drinks, and a staff that actually knows how to read the room and make you feel welcome without hovering. It quickly became our go-to spot to unwind and connect before heading out. Everything about the stay felt top-notch and thoughtfully done-truly concierge-level service from start to finish. Clean, stylish, calm, and confident in a way that makes hosting out-of-town guests feel easy and impressive. If you’re looking for a place that feels elevated but still genuinely warm and human, this is it. I will also add that the hotel feels completely safe at night. —CB

Positive: Beautiful hotel however elevator was broken down and people were trapped in the elevator. Fire department was called to get them out. I was told to eat at the bar area while we waited for 2 hours. Then told elevator was still not operational. Negative: Then we were given a room and it was not similar to the room we reserved. My Mom is 83 so we were not able to use the staircase as a option. Then was given points not a room for the future.

Very friendly staff!! We were on the 6th floor. It looked like it was recently renovated. Very nice rooms. Great beds. Nice showers, only problem I had is my temperature fluctuated from hot to very cold!! Would definitely stay again, when in the area.

We had the Alexander host our Wedding block for family and guests and we could not have been more happy! Taylor and Raj, kept in great communication with me regarding reservations, additional rental spaces, and planning a beautiful weekend for family flying in. Their professionalism and desires to be great hosts were so appreciated. Platt 99 was so fun to gather for drinks following the nightly events. We had a beautiful weekend and beautiful memories will remain with us. Highly recommend!

Have now attended two musical events at The Alexander. Love the space. Easy to get to. Having valet arking available is awesome. Looking forward to attending more events through Fever and Candlelight Concerts.

After a 8 hour drive, we arrived right before midnight. Original room was great but shower was gross. Didnt have any other king bed rooms available and was going to try to book at Le Meridien instead. Oli salvaged our stay. However he was the only working with a number of late check. He worked a hard to find a clean king bed and eventually was able to find a replacement. Thank you Oli

EDIT: Marriott only issued me a fraction of my points for this stay. Avoid this hotel at all costs. I stayed at The Alexander for a Colts game last week and was assigned to the 3rd floor for one night. I was woken up at 7am by hammering and drilling in the room above me. When I called the front desk, they told me there was nothing they could do but have me move rooms since they were doing construction on the floor above me (which was never mentioned when I checked in). I moved rooms; they were doing construction in the room next to me, so I then moved rooms for a third time. Ended up getting no sleep. When I spoke to the supervisor, they told me that they could not refund my points for the stay and I would have to contact Marriott directly. I just got off the phone with Marriott, and they are opening a case, the hotel is the one responsible for refunding the points, so they are doing it on my behalf. Would highly suggest avoiding staying here. I understand that mistakes happen the but the way they responded was completely in their control.
