Kudos to JJ. And cleaning staff and chef. This hotel is officially three stars, but it honestly feels like a strong three-plus, just shy of four — mainly due to the pool size. That said, our stay was amazing. We stayed for one full week and were really impressed by how clean everything was: spotless rooms, very clean linen, and overall excellent housekeeping. The rooms are also quite spacious, which made a long stay very comfortable. The hotel offers great amenities, including a gym, a pool, and on-site laundry facilities, which was super convenient. Reception is open 24/7, and there’s complimentary coffee, tea, and water available around the clock — a really nice touch. Breakfast deserves a special mention: it’s excellent, with plenty of variety and a live cooking station, which made mornings something to look forward to. The only small downside is that the hotel doesn’t provide flip-flops for walking between the pool and your room, which would have been a helpful addition.

Nice hotel, however if you have luggage be prepared to walk a while. Website says onsite parking. Not true. Parking is in a garage behind the building. Then you have to walk down some steps and down a long hall before you get to the entrance of the hotel. Not convenient.

Super clean, very friendly, efficient staff. The manager quickly found a last minute room for me. If I visit Iowa City again I will definitely stay here. Very quiet rooms, every thing was immaculate without smelling of cleaner. The towels and sheets did not smell overwashed with detergent (important for those with skin allergies). There's a small kitchen with appliances, a walk in shower (bathroom clean!), a sofa with a small table, a work/kitchen desk area and the bed/s.

Booked through marriott app. Hotel oversold and sent me to an extended stay hotel in the IHG chain. I wanted a comfortable hotel after a 12 hour drive and ended up in a cheap hotel, in a worse location, for more money after taxes than I originally paid for, at a hotel brand I have no status at. I booked my reservation an hour before my arrival and the hotel was fully aware that they had no room, yet no one thought contacting me was appropriate.

Great location that's near a lot of places to visit. The breakfast was great and had many options. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I was there for a biking event and my bike fit well in the room without feeling crowded. Nice areas for working, cooking, and relaxing in the room. The staff was welcoming and courteous. Parking was in the ramp next door but they gave you a free parking code to use. I would stay there again as overall it was a great experience.

Staying with friends in the "Studio Commons" Suite - 4 rooms and a large living dining space - all connected. Had problems getting card keys coordinated while checking in… And one night some other folks came into the common room and "partied". We woke up but all were tired from traveling so just "rolled over." Some food stuffs and liquor stolen but nothing too serious… Front desk staff completely nonchalant. Local police called - some of us were scared - Could people get into our bedrooms as well? Manager came in (it was a Saturday) and was helpful. Told it was not breaking and entering because guess what - the door to the suite had been programmed as an amenities room - so any guest in the Hotel could enter… If u rent the Studio Commons make sure the card keys are programmed correctly…

Great hotel. Clean facilities. I will say, if you are coming for the pool, don’t. The view was nice. The breakfast was FANTASTIC and had lots of gluten free options but it was hard to find a clean dish. What stood out the most to me was the staff. Very friendly and helpful. The parking garage behind it is connected to the hotel which is convenient. They also give you a barcode to scan for free parking.
