Hyatt Place Dallas / Las Colinas

Monica was wonderful during the ice storm!! She maintained the front desk with a warm smile and kind words. She made sure that we had just what we needed. The room was great; towels were fantastic! Next door room was loyd, so management talked to them and we were able to sleep. Great stay!

Room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. My King mattress was firm, but it had a nice, soft topper and 4 plump pillows, so I slept well. Room arrangement made good use of space, and the heater was able to warm the whole area quickly. I wish there had been an in-room safe and microwave, but I got a good rate so I can't complain. Lots of choices for a hearty breakfast. Service was courteous and efficient. Decently equipped fitness room is accessible 24x7. And FREE PARKING!

I had a great stay at Las Colinas. Every staff member I interacted with was welcoming and helpful, especially Dewey! He checked me in with other group members. He was funny, efficient, and informative. The breakfast was great. The room could use a refresh as it was a little dated. New carpets and fixtures would go a long way. One thing I did find odd was the TV placement in the room, right in the middle of the couch and bed.

The hotel is nice enough, the free breakfast is better than most, but the rooms need help. First thing when you get up stairs to the carpeted hallways it smells a little musty, when you get in the room, it’s majorly musty smelling. The carpeting in the entire room was damp. The TV looks like it’s 20 years old, but it is big that’s for sure. The A/C in my room was stuck on full blast, full fan speed, couldn’t be adjusted in any way, so I had to unplug it. The next day when I plugged it back in the panel LEDs lit up but it wouldn’t start again Bed was comfortable. Overall not bad for the price.

The hotel was great, but what made it better was Dewey & Alicia. Even though the phones were ringing off the hook and people filling up their lobby, they kept their cool and was able to handle everyone's requests and questions. The rooms themselves were spacious and clean, and close to the airport. I only stayed for one night, but its on my list if I'm in the area longer.

I visited this hotel a few years ago for an event. Both during my previous stay and this visit, all the staff were friendly, and I appreciated being able to use the airport shuttle. The hotel’s location was convenient for getting to other places, and although it is located next to the road, I was able to stay quietly and comfortably during my stay and well organized room! If I visit Dallas again, I will choose to stay here.
