My husband and I and our two pomapoos stayed at Flaming Lake 3 weeks in December. It was so peaceful and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The restaurant was so cute, great scenery, super nice servers and had really good food! It was to chilly to use the pool but it looked really nice. They have a gym which was a huge bonus for me. Small but enough to get a great workout in. I was impressed by how clean it was overall Especially that everyone picks up after their dog! You would think that would be common sense but that’s not always the case. Extra points for that! We will definitely come back!
Once again this park was excellent. We stayed from November 3-23 and had the best and relaxing time. The lake was so beautiful. Some of the trees were still changing colors. We had wonderful weather and the pool was heated to a nice 83%. Looking forward to coming back in April of 2026.
Once again we came back to this beautiful RV Park. We have never had an issues with anything. The management, the maintenance and the cafe employees are all helpful and so kind. The park was beautiful, the trees are still changing colors and was just beautiful. We were here from November 3-23 and the weather was just beautiful. It was warm in the day time and a little cool at night. It was perfect. Looking forward to coming back in April 2026. The new pool was amazing and so pretty. It’s heated to 83%. So many good restaurants to choose from around here to eat also. Singletons, Palms fish camp, Seafood Kitchen, Cajun Crab juicy seafood and so many more. Come on down and enjoy this park.
We ended up in cabin 39, it was a cabin on the lake. at first glance the house seemed nice and don’t get me wrong If you are used to tiny homes this is the place for you. The shower was super small. the bed was only a full and my wife and I could barely sleep comfortably on it. the front office was very nice and kind. The security guard,Joe helped out a ton when we first got there. we arrived after hours and he set us up with our key to get in the place. My wife’s sister got a cabin near the highway which was more updated than ours. Highly recommend getting the cabins that aren’t on the lake if you want the better experience. When it rained the bottom of the steps had a puddle you could hardly avoid getting your shoes soaked. Overall, it was better than paying for a hotel stay and next time we’re back in the area I’ll make sure to rent a different cabin.
What a great place to stay! Staff is super friendly, the place is clean and inviting! The restaurant is on the lake with a great view and lots of outdoor seating! There’s not one but 2 beaches and a great pool to swim in! The best part is that almost all of the sites have shade. There’s a really nice breeze coming off the lake. Stayed for a week and loved it, we will definitely come back. Great resort vibe!
Lots in the same category are not all the same. We had premium lakefront lot. Out lot shared a wall with neighbors on both sides (some have grass in between). The power and water pole took up space - reducing the size of the lot. We couldn't extend our awnings as they went over the wall into our neighbors lot. Had to drag picnic table into a corner. The view of the lake was nice but the RV next to us was part of the view. Friendly staff. Quiet at night. Anyone can buy a day pass to come to the lake. DIdn't feel like it was worth the price.
Location is easy to get to off from route. One fifteen.. If you're in the backside, it could be loud with all the traffic. Have a very nice lake that you can swim or fish in.And there are campsites all around it. The sites are relatively close to each other. So if you're looking for privacy, don't do this. Otherwise great place.
