Kent State University Hotel & Conference Center

My family lives in Stow, they had a house full for Christmas. We needed a great place to stay. It was Very Nice. Warm, clean with plenty of hot water, towels Close to many great places to eat. Our daughter really appreciated the convenience of Mom and Dad staying close, warm and safe. We definitely will stay here again and recommend this wonderful place to all our friends and relatives. Positive: It was clean and modern the location was the best part. Staff was very helpful amd friendly. I loved that it paid homage to Kent State University Negative: The limited cable and lack of streaming services was a slight negative but did not affect us. Main issue was that I had to pay additional for parking on the garage next door.

Meh, basic hotel no super amenities. Our room was pretty dirty. Found quite a bit of hair laying around and very dirty behind furniture. The bed was comfy we slept good. Coffee bar downstairs needs some flavor creamer. They did accommodate us arriving at 11:30pm well.

Best hotel for the area. Disappointed in the parking garage. It worked when it wanted to work. The staff at the front desk at the hotel ended up fixing the problem. Lovely hotel though great pool gym restaurant.

Stayed in the presidential suit. Light bulbs burnt out. Trash in can from previous tenants. Bath tub leaked. Had to ask for fabric cleaner because the couch had a horrible smell. Handles were broke on kitchen drawers. Not what you expect when you stay at their nicest room. Their cleaners need to do better. I won't be staying with them again. The restaurant food was amazing though. Five stars on that. Probably the best stuffed chicken I have ever had.

I didn't encounter a single problem. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Here are two things to consider. You must pay 13.50 per night to park in a nearby public parking garage. I knew going in and factored it in as part of the cost for the room. The rooms have a fridge, a microwave, but no charging ports. So many hotels have these in the base of lamps or above the desk. So bring charging blocks not just the cords. There is a lovely terrace off the second floor hallway open from 8:00 AM to midnight. The location is excellent.

We love visiting this hotel. The staff does an excellent job accommodating all of your needs and it is always very clean. Sara always goes above in beyond to make sure each stay is special!
