Econo Lodge Killeen near Fort Hood

The staff was pleasant, but as far as anything else, I would have to give them a 0. The location to near to the highway which would be great if you could not hear every vehicle going by as well as even when the door is locked, you can see light coming through it. Apparently, they allow people to live on a monthly basis there as well. The noise coming from the room above us and to the side of us was overwhelming not to mention the pot smell coming out of the room. Would never ever stay there again.

This was one of the nastiest room I have ever been to. The floors were the only thing clean. The towels had stains and were discolored. The walls ha I dont know what on it. The covers were stained. The smoke detector was disconnected and not working. Furniture in the room look like it should had been replace a decade ago. Paint on the wall was questionable at best. Let's not talk about the shower that look to have been re-purpose a few times. Just not a place to stay. They should have health inspectors come and shut them down. There was one good thing we had a very friendly visitor who like thw taste of insects, a spotted house gecko. At least there were no roaches in this one.

Right by the highway you can hear everything. The door to the room would not close completely it was absolutely filthy with random bugs and a gecko that came in during the rain through the Crack in the door. The towels had dirt and stains. The bed cover had dark spots and was not washed the walls had multiple markings and cracks plus gaps in multiple areas. Overall horrible stay.

Positive: Nothing Negative: They didn't have any breakfast the second day I was there.

I been a Choice member so I didnt really check the room cause when we got in we were tired. But the next day we seen the room was not really clean stains on the bathroom door both sides. Sheets weren't clean properly had stains and had a bad smell. But what really got me is when we were bout to check i was doing a final check of the room look in the night stand and there used condoms in there.

Stayed a week in a smoking room 1) this is a CHOICE HOTEL that advertised free breakfast . The one morning they did open ( seen a partial corn flakes for only a half bowl , coffee dispenser dispensed 1/2 cup, no juice, bread was cold and moist like it came outta the freezer) NOT APPEALING at ALL! 2) They would not come by to ask about room service ( had only a 3 hour window to do towel exchange or you were without towels . Had to wait half the day for towel exchange because they did smoking and non smoking separate do the few towels they did have were washed and returned half day later 3) On the fifth day turned in the bed covers for exchange later was told the covers would be returned until the next day . Slept without bedding. Unfortunately I have had better hospitality in a county jail then this CHOICE HOTEL! 4) Found an online price and tried paying online to receive the discount . Was told if I used the online price I would have to move my belongings and wait til 3 pm to check in. So forced to pay a higher premium. If you are a masacist and enjoy abuse this is your spot. But if you are looking for a comfortable place to return to after work or vacation for you / family AVOID at ALL cost. It is a great place to stay. The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and it is quiet.
