MainStay Suites Knoxville North I-75

Check in was easy. We did not know at booking it is an extended stay hotel. It presented at a suite, not really to us. Had a handicap room, which was alittle difficult for my mother with a rollator to ambulate too & that was having surgery the following morning . Had to walk inside towards back of room, up to second floor, then down the long hallway to almost the end for our room. 3 guess booked for room, only 2 towels left, no shampoo or body wash. Called down for extra towels to be walked up and person at desk declined r/t only one at desk. Checked out next morning, left a small personal comfort baby pillow, called later in day from hospital and person at desk asked and he said now turned in a small pillow. My mother was upset and this person was not empathetic. My neices called back to this hotel thinking she was helping and person at desk was short, ride and hung up on her. Thats just rude- very poor person- to person, not personable

Hotel staff is friendly, with easy check in and check out. Hotel has had updates but still feels a bit dated. Hot water took approx 5 minutes (guidance from the front desk) to come out of our faucets and the sheets/blankets had small burns from previous smokers (rooms did NOT smell like smoke). Kitchen and living room was clean and we appreciated the Room Guide provided! Easy to come and go and overall, a nice stay.

Room was super clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Getting the suite was a nice added touch for the bigger refrigerator, dining table and couch. The only thing that needs to be upgraded are the TV's. Would be nice to have smart tv's so you can stream. Was nice to sit on the balcony. Front desk attendant was super nice. Walking distance to Cracker Barrel and Hooters. Overall...great stay. Would stay again.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Our encounter at the front desk with Jessie from the time we checked in, to any questions we had about anything, til check out. She is really what made our stay memorable. You just don't get customer service at all any where, any more. Much less someone willing to help you and be happy about it. Well Jessie deserves kudos for just being a kind, informative, engaging and pleasant. She definitely went above and beyond. We will come back when we are in town because of the way she treated us. Thanks again Jessie!

Nice hotel, rooms are great! Breakfast is not good, very minimal, like 4 slices of bread and 6 bagels. Maybe there would be butter and cream cheese but not all the time. Most of the time, no coffee and it's only available during breakfast. Laundry was broken for most of the 3 weeks I stayed. They do have smoking rooms and balconies that can be smoked on. I asked 5 different times to be moved. Always heard a blah blah about waiting to see, even though they were not full. Not impressed!

I did a trip to Tennessee, Nashville, Knoxville, and a few spots in between. This was one of the better priced but also a very comfortable hotel. Was it perfect? No was the bed comfortable? Yes was the room clean, yes. If I had a complaint it would be the breakfast. Your choice of hot food was oatmeal or waffle. So I walked across the parking lot and went to cracker barrel. But if I travel the route again I will definitely stay in that hotel. I have no no reasons why I wouldn't.

Stayed here 4 days for work. Its not bad. Weird smell in my room but everything was reasonably clean. I skipped breakfast here most days. It was not much of anything. Overall 3.6
