T'Frere's House Bed & Breakfast

We stayed in the Mardi Gras room for one night. It was very homely and comfortable. Sal, the owner, took personal interest in making our stay comfortable. Todd, the caretaker , too was attentive. It rained the next morning, so eating Breakfast on the veranda and watching the rain was so soothing. Definitely consider staying here for a local experience. It is close to all the lovely areas.

A beautiful home but not well-maintained. It is not a pleasant location, being on a very busy street with frequent heavy traffic and noise. The biggest downside is the owner does not reside there. There's not even a full-time manager on the premises. T'Frere's makes sure there is someone there to greet you when you check in, and someone there to cook a breakfast in the morning but, that's it. For most of our stay, the place was empty with us being the only ones there. Not one person available to help suggest places to see or where to eat. True, we were assured help was only a phone call away, but that is not conducive to the homey feel we love and expect in a B&B. If you are bothered by staying in an empty house, in a strange location, you may want to reconsider. I honestly dislike leaving such a review, but we were disappointed.

This is such a lovely bed and breakfast! The house is so pretty and well-maintained, and Todd, who greeted us, was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic and there was lots of stuff to do in the area. Would 100% stay again.

I had the pleasure of staying at T’Frere’s Bed & Breakfast this past weekend with family members. T’Frere’s is an amazing property. The rooms were clean and comfy. Sal and Todd made us feel so welcome and tended to our requests immediately. The property is a great place for family gatherings. We needed a last minute place to crash after Thanksgiving so we stopped here for a night - Todd was super nice and accommodating, and made us a great breakfast before we left in the morning. The space is clean and very comfortable. Would recommend this place to anybody!

Met all the three C's: clean, cozy, and Cajun. Excellent communication in making arrangements to stay when I had follow-up questions too. I liked having the fruit buffet with breakfast. But y'all a 'ti bit stingy with the andouille sausage and extra slices would have been great. 🙂

Wow!! Wow!! Wow!! We absolutely loved this place. Sal and Todd made us feel so at home, that we (3 couples) wanted to just stay and enjoy the home! Of course we eventually got out and rode around the area and enjoyed good food in Lafayette. Todd, was an absolutely perfect host!! We will definitely return.
