SpringHill Suites by Marriott Las Cruces

A few standouts: - In a high turnover environment, I’ve seen the same faces working at this SpringHill for over a year and a half. They care about the success of this SpringHill, and you can feel it. - The rooms are always clean, parking is uncomplicated, and you miss out on not taking advantage of the free breakfast. - The location, which admittedly isn’t the flashiest or in the best place, is convenient and quiet in the night time. You’re also within close proximity to all the important things; local wineries, gas stations, the highway, etc. This SpringHill speaks for itself in the stay that you have. Enjoy!

We stayed here 1 night with our 3 dogs while on vacation. At check-in, the front desk guy at night was dressed in a T-shirt and sweatpants, which was unprofessional. After checking in, we parked our car and got our dogs out. Weirdly enough, the front desk guy is outside walking by us, but we're like, okay, maybe it's his smoke break. But then, once we got to our floor and we're walking to our room, this guy was there again walking behind us! This creeped us out! We did take our dogs out one time before we headed to bed and there was a different person at the front desk, probably about 11 pm, she was so unfriendly. For a Marriott chain hotel, you would expect friendlier and better service, but this hotel had some odd people. In the morning, the woman at the front desk was very nice, exactly how we would expect someone working at the front desk to be. Breakfast was not good though, food tasted old and decided not to eat there. Probably would not stay there again.

This hotel was in a great location, right off the interstate and close to areas I wanted to visit. The front desk personnel were very courteous and helpful. I was fortunate enough to meet and talk with the director of sales and the manager of this hotel. They were very nice and professional. They made me feel as though I had might the right choice in staying at Springhill Suites. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast they served was very nice. I have not had this good of service and hospitality at a hotel in years. I greatly appreciate the way you made me feel during stay!! Thank you!!!

Positive: Super clean all around! The beds, sheets, pillows, were impeccably clean! I confidently placed my belongings anywhere without the fear of bugs or uncleanliness. Going to sleep was effortless because the linens were perfectly clean and crisp and spotless! Negative: ""

I have a one star because no stars was not an option. I checked in for a four day stay, due to a family member being in the hospital. I was traveling back and forth a lot from the room to the hospital. I received an email while at the hospital from the front desk with all my information but someone elses name. The email was asking for permission to charge my card two additional days for someone else. My room was given to someone who claimed they knew me after only one day of my four day stay and no one contacted me directly they were given full access to my room. In the end I was charged for the full amount of the room, the other person was charged for the full amount of the room also. When I called the manager to fix it the GM avoided me at all cost. Instead I received an email from the person who made all the charges claiming they could not reverse any charges because they had done nothing wrong. I went back to the hotel a few days later and had to get the Las Cruses PD involved because they refused to talk to me. Best of luck seems like a lot of scamming going on in this place. They were very rude and asked that I be banned from the premises after I made a fraud report.

I arrived and the surrounding area was full of intoxicated /tweaking people. I parked as close to the main doorways as possible After many days of traveling on the road I was looking forward to a hot shower and washing my hair but was very disappointed to find the shampoo and conditioner bottles completely empty mid shower. I tried calling downstairs to let the service desk know, but the phone didn’t work. I went to bed without a proper shower and let the front desk people know I needed conditioner. They said I had to wait two hours for the cleaners to come in for them to get me any shampoo and conditioner. So I had breakfast while I waited. The eggs were powdered? And the breakfast sandwiches were wet and soggy. I went back upstairs and the cleaner never brought the shampoo and conditioner. I’m an elite member status and this was such a disappointing experience. I would not recommend staying here at all

* LOCATION NOTE: This hotel is located on the far / "West" side of Los Cruces, and your journey there may very well take you through downtown proper as well as a light industrial district --||Even when I knew I was close, the hotel can still be a bit hard to find due to very limited street lighting and visible signage. (When Siri announced "Arrived!" I still found myself in a dark gravel lot with no visible hotel sign in evidence.) ||When I finally DID check in around 10:30 -- very tired from a long drive -- sleep, and ONLY sleep, was the one thing on my mind.||Trying to get the lights on in the room involved leaving the hall door open so that I could see, as the wall switch wasn't working, and the housekeeping staff had not had the foresight to leave even a single small reading light on.||When I did manage some illumination, I was welcomed to my room by a large Parson spider sitting on the bed, just below the pillows.||After disposing of the spider, I went to get a glass of water, where I noticed a set of clear lipstick prints on the edge of the glass. (And sadly, when I went to make my coffee the next morning, I noticed that the cardboard coffee cup covers on the ceramic cups had clearly been used previously, as they already had coffee ring stains on them.)||While this hotel attempts to appeal to a more hip, contemporary clientele (rainforest blend coffee, recycling containers in the room, gluten-free breakfast options, limited room changing) it was also clearly evident that it had suffered years of abuse from a long series of "less well-mannered" lodgers --||The doors on the under sink cabinets would no longer close, as they had been yanked off the hinges. The wood laminate finish on same was chipping and peeling. ||The fancy kitchen sink faucet never worked, no matter how much I messed with it. ||Lastly, the microwave showed evidence of having been fully disassembled, with the screws then left off when it was put back together. ||Most importantly, my good night's sleep was not in the cards. A large group of rowdy teenagers checked in to the adjoining suite and proceeded to behave like they were the only ones in the building. Subsequently the next day's drive was a real struggle.||* A FINAL NOTE: The hotel IS near several restaurants, however, due to the darkness and large transient population, I would suggest driving instead of walking . . .
