Other reviews are wrong! We were concerned about staying here due to the bad reviews that said it smells. We can definitely say the hallways and rooms don't smell. The rooms are clean, no bedbugs, or other problems. Don't get me wrong, this is a value hotel, so if you want the Wynn (or similar) go to the Wynn and pay 10x more. However, it's great to be able to go from your room to the casino, restaurants, your car, the pool, etc. with only a few minute walk in contrast with some of the huge properties. BTW, whoever said the staff were unfriendly were wrong. I especially want to thank Adam and Jose at the front desk and Monse, the manager. All are friendly and helpful. Karaoke at the Front Yard is great fun. The Front Yard restaurant food is great. The food is reasonably priced in contrast to other Las Vegas venues. The most compelling thing I can say is that we'll be back.
Positive: Location off the strip. Free parking. Price. Negative: Room had hair balls and dental floss on the floor from previous guests. Fridge didn’t work. Carpet in the halls was grungy/dirty. F1 racetrack is next door. They’re still tearing out grandstands and over the street trusses. Beeping from forklift all night
Great hotel with free parking. For the price you get a really good value, big and comfy bed, good shower, of course it’s always a value for money question. I just needed a place to crash for a night and this was the perfect option (close to the strip). I would even stay a couple days there (if budget was a concern) otherwise of course some more expensive hotels are fancier. I really liked the place and I would come back.
It's nice looking but I still prefer the old Ellis Island. I liked it better when it felt more homie and local. I know things have to change but still liked it when the dealers lip sync and and the dealers have personalities. I just believe the quality of service has gone down. This the casino! It's really nice inside now but it lost its personality!
Rooms comparable to Motel 6, but had a few problems after checking in. TV didn’t work, toilet seat was broken. Took maintenance over a hour to fix TV. Toilet seat never was fixed/replaced. The Chair in the room was BROKEN. They charge you a daily resort fee. When checking out and requesting our resort fee be adjusted due to our problems, front desk said only the manager can do it. That was Monday morning, but Manager was not available unit WEDNESDAY night. Call manager "Joseph Cruz many times, left message. Still no call back. The customer service at the front desk has an attitude of I don’t care. The casino is fun and steak and eggs are great for the prize but if he’s staying in a hotel, know that you’re gonna get shitty service people don’t care and the rooms are dated and many problems with the rooms, again remember front desk, they don’t give a shit about you. DO NOT STAY THERE IF YOU WANT A FUN VEGAS EXPERIENCE.
Beware if you plan to have packages delivered to this hotel. During my stay, I specifically coordinated with hotel staff to arrange for a package to be delivered while I was there. They confirmed they were aware of it and that it wouldn’t be an issue. Amazon later confirmed the package was delivered to the hotel. However, when I asked the front desk about it, no one seemed to know anything about it. I followed up multiple times and spoke with several managers, but the responses were extremely unhelpful. Eventually, I was told the package had supposedly been "rejected," with the explanation that the name on the package wasn’t clear. The problem is that Amazon confirmed the package was successfully delivered to the hotel. So somewhere between delivery and the front desk, the package effectively disappeared. Despite raising the issue with management, there was no accountability or meaningful effort to investigate what happened. If you’re planning to receive important deliveries during your stay, I would strongly recommend choosing a different hotel. This experience was frustrating and the lack of support from staff made it even worse.
Just stayed for my first visit to Vegas with my husband (Feb 2026). Was extremely impressed it’s the hotel and staff. Old school Vegas vibe. No over the top frills like other hotels but it’s perfect. Very reasonable pricing and food was amazing. Will definitely be returning to this hotel for our next stay!
