This place needs an update!! They have started in the lobby & that looks better, but the rooms are horrible. I would share some photos, but it doesn't give me that option. It's really sad to think that there are many patients who choose this hotel & then can't feel comfortable after a day of testing at the hospital. I didn't mind cracks or a little wear & tear, but it's much more than that. The way cloths looked like a mouse made a home in them. Holes in the towels Holes in the sheets. Dirty counters, dirty floors, etc. It just don't feel clean at all. We have stayed in the hotel over several years & in the past i have encountered bed bugs. I keep saying just one more time, but at this point I'm at my limit.

I would stay here again. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The room and beds were clean and comfortable. Yes, it is a little outdated & worn but everything functioned as it should. Hallways occasionally had strange smells that I attributed to other guests and different ethnic backgrounds.

Demond gave excellent service. When we arrived there was a mix up with the check in date that was on me. He patiently helped me get it sorted out with a different third party reservation company who did NOT earn a positive review at all. Throughout the entire process, Demond was kind, patient and friendly. My family and I greatly appreciate his help!

Was very close to hospital where my family member was having surgery and I felt safe, so that made it worth the stay. I have stayed there multiple times over the years and it definitely hasn't been freshened up any over the past couple of decades. The smelly 4th floor was the worst room I've had there.

Had a relative in ICU, got in around 8:30 pm. Being unsure of finding a place to stay and how long we would be there we booked a room for 4 nights and dtove over to the hospital without ever entering the room. As tje night progressed, our loved one was taken off meds and entered a Palative state where they didnt think he would last a few hours so we stayed bedside. The next morning he moved to the Hospice on the 7th floor where we stayed until Saturday when he passed. My wife called the hotel seveveral times from 0400 until finally getting someone around 0630 to cancel our stay and asked if we could be refunded for the previous night as well since we never entered the room and they had plenty of vacancies. They refused even a partial refund.

Our family ended up staying here during one of the most terrifying moments of our lives. One of my girlfriend’s 4-year-old twin daughters had to be life-flighted to Arkansas Children's Hospital after the ER discovered she not only had Type 1 diabetes, but was also in diabetic ketoacidosis. Both twins are autistic and have never been away from their mom before. While she stayed at the hospital, I had to find somewhere for myself and the other twin to stay for the night. I was honestly terrified that if she had a meltdown we might get kicked out, but the experience was the complete opposite. Every member of the staff we interacted with was incredibly compassionate and understanding. They treated us with so much kindness during a really overwhelming time. The manager, Anne, especially went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and reassured us that we were welcome there. That kind of compassion really means everything when you’re dealing with a family emergency. The only thing I’d mention for clarity is that Arkansas Children's Hospital still lists this location as having a shuttle to the hospital, but the shuttle actually stopped running a couple of years ago (there is a sign at the front desk explaining this). Even so, the care and kindness we experienced here were exceptional. I would absolutely recommend staying here, especially if you have family at the hospital and need a supportive place during a difficult time.

I would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel. It is in great need of maintenance and currently we learned they don't have a maintenance person. We checked into our room and found it to be just "ok" but had no towels so we had to go back down and get our towels. In the morning, we found that the bathtub was not set properly and the floor of the bathtub was moving as if like standing on jello. It was unsafe. Also the TV did not work. We reported the issues and they offered another room for us to move. So we quickly moved all of our stuff to the 2nd room and try to get to our appointments of the day. When we went to leave the 2nd room we found that the door would not lock. He were late getting to our appointments and had to leave our room unlocked and told the front desk. They assured us that the maintenance guy would be up momentarily to fix it. When we arrived back to our room later that evening, the room was still unsecured. We were told that they did mot have a maintenance guy and that he had been let go some time ago. We told them that we could not stay in the hotel and would need them to refund the rest of our 5 night stay. They did not offer any consideration for the headache of having to move rooms or for the loss time and missed appointment due to the rooms being substandard. We moved to Courtyard by Marriott and paid about the same price for a very nice room.
