Lumea by the Sea Long Beach Convention Center

The hotel is small and clean but the payment was a hassle as they wanted to double charge me after paying Trip.com

We stayed overnight before heading back home after our cruise. From reserving the room to departing everything was great. Location was perfect, coffee shop was a few steps, beach was within walking distance, food was walking distance also. Staff was great throughout the day and night. Parking was a bit challenging. Inside the rooms was nice and clean. Definitely would recommend this lovely place to anyone.

Very nice hotel. Unexpected to be up to par with one of those big brand hotels. Service was amazing very helpful staff. Plus it smelled really nice throughout the hotel. Rooms were great. Had everything we needed. Would recommend even if you're just staying for one night you won't be disappointed.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at Hotel Lumea by the Sea. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcomed. Every single team member was kind, attentive, and genuinely warm. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. It has the perfect boutique luxury feel that is stylish, intimate, and thoughtfully designed. Everything was spotless and incredibly clean, which immediately put us at ease. It was also so quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind before heading out on our cruise the next day. We truly could not have picked a better spot to start our trip. Highly recommend if you are looking for a clean, serene, boutique luxury stay with exceptional service. We will definitely be back.

I loved our stay! In downtown Long Beach, so plenty of places to eat, the hotel offers room service from a few nearby restaurants, and even lets you use their Grub Hub account with $0 delivery fee. it felt home like and was very comfortable. I loved all the aroma therapy in the rooms and the air purifier. 10 min drive to Long Beach Cruise Terminal. You are staying in a building that has history in Long Beach, built in 1920, remodeled in 2025. Do keep this in mind. The rooms are smaller, perfect for two people. We stayed in the Revive Club Level because it includes breakfast, office center access for copy and print services, plus coffee, tea, water at all hours. Breakfast, light continental, between 6-9:30 (I think). Older building means no elevator, but there are only 2 floors and it was a short stairway. The things that came with the older building made the hotel unique, fun, and felt more like home. I only stayed one night, and didn’t have time to take photos.

Everything was pretty cool. Front desk folks were super helpful and kind. It's located within walking distance to a lot of bars and eateries as well as the Aquarium and Shoreline. It's street parking but there is a parking pass you can purchase for 20 dollars a night that's located about a block and half away. And the rooms are super nice. No elevators but it's not to much trouble taking your luggage up the stairs. Highly recommend.

Great location just a short walking distance to Long Beach downtown. Handsome boutique hotel. The room was very clean. I enjoyed unusually quiet air conditioning which is rare for hotels. I would stay at Lumea by the sea again.
