The Cliff House at Pikes Peak

A wonderful historic hotel Beautifully built. The staff- everyone were simply the best- none better anywhere! We enjoyed our 4-day visit. Dining room is first class with well prepared dishes. 10 minutes from the Cog RR. Across the street from the Arcade- and many shops and dining locations. A superb Manitou location and easy to walk or ride the free shuttle. This staff is amazingly attentive to guests! Wow. A must stay!! 🚂♥️😎

The staff are all very personable and welcoming. Upon checking in, they upgraded our room for free giving us an incredible view and experience. We had a warm fireplace, a couch, and large spa tub that we used several times. The size of the rooms here made us feel like royalty. It felt like staying at a 5 star hotel. This has been our favorite romantic place to stay for the last 3 years. Wouldn't change a thing!

Positive: Charming historic hotel that?s solidly built and well-kept. Great amenities and a super comfy bed ? perfect for a restful night after traveling. Negative: The front desk concierge, was so rude we started to wonder if this hotel actually hates its guests. She kept dodging our questions by talking about prices and even suggested other hotels. It was raining ? we just wanted to check in, not negotiate.

We stayed at a historic hotel near Pikes Peak, and it truly felt like stepping back in time. The property is full of vintage charm and classic character. While the atmosphere has an old-fashioned feel, everything — from the surroundings and room cleanliness to the attentive service — made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay. We would happily return again. The nearby Old Town area is unique and full of character, perfect for strolling and exploring. Our favorite spot was Manitou Brewing Company, where we enjoyed a fantastic Bingo night and made some great memories.

We really enjoyed our stay! The uniquely decorated suites were so fun to explore and made the experience special. The historic book from the front desk was also a great way to learn about the town and hotel. Definitely worth revisiting!

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary by staying at this hotel. We've stayed here several times over the past decade. We had a suite that included a gas fireplace, mountain view, and large hot tub--and it was a very good value. The ambiance, especially during the holiday season is fantastic--charming, historic, and romantic. But it has gone downhill over the years, and they seem to have stopped touching up and renovating as most places would. But on the other hand, the history is part of the charm and it was a good value.

The hotel is nice and well maintained. Comfortable bedding and the bar/grill has nice affordable options. We had an issue with the room, however director Cara, I believe is her name handled everything professionally and thoroughly to make up for the issue we were having with the room. What could have ruined an evening was made up by the professionalism and kindness shown by Cara. Thank you.
