Homewood Suites by Hilton McAllen

Great place to stay with great amenities. My room could use a re fresh because of older furniture, carpet, sink, etc., but it was still very pleasant with absolutely no bad/weird smells and very clean. Very comfortable bed and quiet. Great Hilton amenities such as digital key and TV that I can log into Netflix in addition to all of the good TV channels Offers a shuttle service. I got a free ride to the airport the day of departure.

The layout of the facilities are great! This is a very relaxing place to stay with an open lobby to a seating area and a dining area. The patio is the best feature here, equipped with a fireplace, BBQ grills, a beautiful landscaping, a pool, beach chairs, a nice breeze, quiet enough to nap there, and a half court basketball hoop. The staff here are 10/10 friendly and attentive. This place offers free breakfast and dinner Monday through Friday, cooked and served by the friendliest staff you could ever meet. Dinner includes complementary beer and wine. Unbeatable. I have just one thing to say that this place needs work on ASAP. The cleanliness of the rooms are lacking. I unfortunately found hairs in the bathroom floor and shower floor & drain when I first entered my King suite. One of my towels smelled like someone else’s cologne, like it either wasn’t washed right or someone else had used it already. The floor under the table in the kitchenette was greasy. The cabinets were dirty. This is why I rated this place 2 out of 5. Cleanliness should be a top priority.

I've stayed at many different Homewood Suites in different locations and this one was a bit older model with the bathroom looking really old. The pillows were so uncomfortable that I had to use all four of them which gave me a neck stiffing next day. The worst experience I had in this Homewood was the bed sheets were ripped and look like nobody switched the sheets out. The other experience I had was that at the breakfast the only options they had every single morning was meet in the eggs and also the dinner they offer was also meet every single day and no option for vegetarians. I stayed here 6 days and out of the 6 days I was offered a vegetarian option on the last day. The ladies working breakfast and dinner area were so kind and generous. I don't believe I will be coming back to this Homewood Suite again

Very clean, well stocked exercise room, friendly and attentive service. Location is also great, with good restaurants in walking distance. I enjoyed the stay.

I went there to see if this would be a good hotel for my relatives that are coming down. They have " No Security!!!" We are living close to the Border. Vehicles get stolen in this area. No protection for your customers and your employees? I would not stay until they get security.

One of the elevators was out of service. The front desk staff is always friendly. The ladies that run evening reception are the best! I recommend this Hilton location, definitely a good one! I will stay here again.

The Front Desk staff and Kitchen staff go out of their way to ensure that the Guests have an enjoyable stay. The Hotel is centrally located to Shops and Restaurants, with a free Hotel Shuttle available.
