La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham McAllen Convention Center

Let me start by saying that the hotel smells amazing! The air fresheners are top notch! Love that there was plenty of seating in the lobby and a nice bar! TVs were on the Cowboys game this morning which was a plus! The hotel was very clean including our rooms. Loved that they had Shampoo/Conditioner/Bodywash/Lotion dispensers in the our rooms. The pool area was very tidy and there was lots of seating there too. And finally the breakfast set up was more than I imagined! I normally skip bfast continental bfast but I La Quintas bfast was better than I could have imagined! I don’t know if this is a daily spread or just a weekend spread but they served, menudo, tamales, eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, fruit, pastries and all the fixings! I was impressed and everything was really good! The staff were all very nice and helpful! I’m so glad we stayed here 🙂

Excellent service and great rooms! At check-in, we were greeted with complimentary happy-hour drinks, which made for such a warm welcome. From check-in through breakfast, the service was outstanding. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. We’ll definitely be staying here for every McAllen trip. Highly recommend!

We stayed for 2 nights at this La Quinta and had a great experience. Everyone was so friendly, greeted me right away, said "Good morning", smiled, etc. Room was impeccably clean. Location is convenient to shopping and restaurants that it was easy to choose what to do and eat. We’re locals and really enjoyed our staycation.

Wonderful stay! Staff, super friendly. Food, delicious and variety. Room, clean, and fresh clean scent. Location, ideal. Super close to restaurants and shopping center. Only issue I had was upon checking in, there was a long strand hair that was woven into one of the pillows. Went to front desk, they apologized and immediately resolved the issue. You can tell the room was cleaned. Just a slight oversight. But other than that, wonderful peaceful stay. Will definitely be back!

I stay at the la Quinta on 10th Street every year during Christmas This year I accidentally made the reservation at La Quinta at the convention center At first I was a little bit hesitant But I can only say it was a blessful mistake The rooms are clean and immaculate The hotel for service is prompt and extremely cordial The breakfast is phenomenal. It's not just croissants and cupcakes and waffles. They serve scrambled eggs. Potatoes, tortillas, biscuits, sausage, , country gravy, bagels, oatmeal, waffles, orange juice, boiled eggs, toast, apple juice, cranberry juice, yogurt, a lot of other stuff just for breakfast One of our highlights of our stay for the 10 days was Arturo the manager at the bar in the lobby If you stay here. You can ask the front desk for happy hour coupons which gives you free drinks Happy hour is Monday through Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Arturo made some of the best drinks we've had in a long time..👌 He's made special virgin drinks for my son who's only 18 ❤️ And he created a special peppermint smoothie with peppermint schnapps and actual 💞🎊peppermint candy just for my wife. I consider the guy my family now. 🥰 Even if you're not staying at the hotel I recommend you come on in and say hello to Arturo Tell him omen from California referred you!!

The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable . And the breakfast was fantastic and we would highly recommend this hotel to others, Beautiful pool and lounge area also.
