Studio 6 Mcallen, TX

The location is not great. The staff were AWFUL. The woman who checked us in didnt have enough beds for the rooms they had online. Then we get to the room and it reeked of human urine. The halls and the rooms just smell so so so bad. They charged me for 2 nights and early check in... even though we immediately left. I will follow up with corporate. They must be paying them well at Studio 6 because that desk agent was fighting for the 50.00 she charged us AFTER the booking to not be able to use the room. Staying in a burger king bathroom would be less smelly. So don't stay here at all. The 5 stars are lies. 100% paid to post those because I walked in and walked out. We are at an airbnb. Never EVER stay here

I recently stayed at Studio 6, and it was such a peaceful and relaxing experience from start to finish. The entire hotel had a fresh, clean scent that made it feel inviting the moment I walked in. My room was quiet, cozy, and perfect for unwinding, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable—I slept better than I have in a long time. Honestly, it was way better than staying at the other hotel I’ve tried in the area. Everything from the calm atmosphere to the overall cleanliness made this stay stand out. I’m giving it a well-deserved 5 stars and would absolutely stay here again!

Positive: Nothing to do with the front desk girl she was amazing. But the room of the hotel are awful. No water pressure in the room bathtubs have big cracks that you can't get bath. Negative: Everything! Keep it up in maintenance and provide clean sheets.

Hotel needs to be closed and immediately sprayed for bugs, roaches to be exact! I had to change rooms 3 times! First one, roaches in the freezer, second one had roaches crawling up the wall and the guests next to the room were extremely loud and inappropriate, the third room had no heat but the nice guy at the front desk gave me a extra blanket and apologized. I asked to speak to a manager and got no response, no refund, or anything. I just wanted a good night's rest.

I give Studio 6 a well-deserved 5-star rating for their excellent service and comfortable accommodations. I especially want to recognize the housekeeper who eritza 🙂 takes care of my room she does an outstanding job keeping everything spotless and organized. Her attention to detail and hard work truly make a difference in my stay. I always make sure to leave her a tip because she genuinely deserves it. Her dedication and neatness do not go unnoticed, and I really appreciate everything she does to make my experience so pleasant and front desk for making it very welcome and easy for me. Loved my room thank you

My stay at the hotel was really great, and I honestly enjoyed it. The staff was so friendly and helpful, always making sure I felt welcome. My room was super clean—the bed was fresh, the bathroom was spotless, and everything looked well taken care of. The only thing that made me a little nervous was the elevator since it jumped before I even pressed the number, which was kind of scary. Other than that, everything was comfortable and enjoyable, and the service made me feel really cared for.

Had a very pleasant stay, I've stayed at this property in the past and have never had a poor experience. This past stay I was kind of skeptical due to the reviews recently posted, but it has always been my go to hotel when visiting the area. So I booked again, and just as before I was fully satisfied with stay. I had no issues whatsoever, the staff was very friendly and the room was great as always. The only issue I had was this Texas heat 🥵 But I highly recommend this property. I will definitely book again, see you guys next month. Keep up the amazing work.
