Texas Inn Downtown McAllen near Airport/Mall

Nice hotel for the price. Close to everything you could need to include the expressway. My only complaint was that for some reason I could smell heavy cigarette smoke in my bathroom at night. It was a non smoking section of the hotel but I had to close my bathroom door to keep the room from smelling like smoke. Another thing is the internet in that section was bad. I read a review that room 209 had bad reception guess what room I got 208. Staff members were really nice. All in all cool spot to stay.

In this hotel we were able to have a good rest and gain strength before a long journey. We liked everything. I especially liked the human attitude and kindness of the hotel owners. We indicated the wrong arrival date in the application, so we paid again in cash at the hotel, the owners immediately returned the money to us for a non-refundable reservation. this is very decent. I appreciate it. My recommendation is to check into this hotel, it’s very quiet at night and Whataburger is 10 meters away) Gentlemen, why do you write such reviews? We lived here as a family and everything was fine, both with the smell and the cleanliness of the linen. I'm surprised that some people expect Sheraton luxury in this more than affordable hotel.

Very clean rooms very good customer service

Positive: Great location Negative: Old and outdated . It did not look like the pictures I saw in the website.

This place is an absolute dumpster fire. The rooms were dirty and the doors don't unlock 95% of the time. No water pressure in showers or sinks. Staff was less than helpful genuinely didn't care. The staff were using their lobby area to store junk. The sit down for the lobby while someone waits for service was the back seat bench out of a car. Pool area was nasty and pool itself was full of leaves and algae. The only good thing about this place were the stores and restaurants around it that gave you options to get away from the hotel. Hated this place. It was disgusting.

Advertising online for $39 a night but with only like 3 rooms rented cheapest room was $46 with tax and hotel fees was $60. The pool dirty and locked up could not use. They did not have a ice machine. Was in a non smoking room but mattress was full of burn holes in it. The bathroom sink had stains of dead bugs in it. The only good thing about the room was the cold ac and tv.
