First time there, main goal was to relax not sight see only because I’ve lived in Memphis and know there is nothing to see. The shop its self was nice the fish were huge! Didn’t try any food there, only because it’s over priced and the reviews say it’s not worth it. A lot to see inside! The hotel side, definitely rustic, it just confirmed I am more of a modern feel person. So if you like the rustic old school stuff you’ll love it. I did like the small trinkets inside that went with the rustic theme though. I got the duck lodge so we had the whole cabin area to ourselves, the bad part is it needs to be made more aware to others it’s a private area had a few guest walk up onto the deck part, which was annoying! They didn’t do that good on cleaning there was pop corn left on the floor and some type of bag left in drawer. The shower and tub were AMAZING. They provided free snacks and waters which was a nice touch. I will say they are definitely over priced but I booked with a good special they had going on.The staff, they are nice! One of the employees were being a little too flirtatious which is distasteful in my eyes! Would I stay here again? Only if they have another special maybe!! Oh and the tv barely worked it kept cutting off during shows and only like 3 channels worked we ended up just streaming movies on our laptop!
Positive: big rooms and big bathrooms Negative: signage could be better and letting guess know that the lounge and restaurant closes at 9pm and there is nothing close by
We stayed here march 7-8 for my son’s 12 birthday and it was AMAZING. We are seasonal hunters so this was right up our ally!! The room was fantastic and very decorative we had an interior balcony and it was great. I will definitely visit again and again! We loved the hot tub and the snacks we tasty yummy!!😇❤️
Dude this place is insanely cool they have every little detail down to a T. This is somewhere I think everyone should visit at least 2 or 3 days or a few times. There is hot tubs in the rooms an indoor terrace, complementary snacks, extra towels, AND it was super clean. Im a bit of a germaphobe in hotels but never once did I feel gross here. Also the elevator is card access only so it feels secure, but not to the point a doordash couldn't come to the room door. And theres so much to do here, great for the whole family. Also we had the ADA suite it had perfect support for us while keeping the rustic details, it made me feel great!
This was a lot of fun. Stayed one night on a cross country trip. The rooms are fun and unique, massive bathrooms and showers. We had a balcony over looking the aquariums and store. The roof top view and restaurant were amazing. Worth a one night stay for the experience.
Beautiful surroundings, views and esthetics. Didn't like the bed or shower and some amenities near our room were either out of order ( ice machine), or missing completely (microwave.. we were told maintenance would get one in there however that never happened). All in all, we were pretty pleased and will go back.
We have stayed here every time we visit Memphis for the past decade. The decline in the quality and customer service is notable. We typically book through Expedia for an interior resort view King room. Upon arrival we got to the room we booked and paid for and found several lamps, lights, and the television not working. We called to have maintenance look at the issues but no one ever showed up. We went down to the front desk to inquire again and they said they'd get someone to look at it. A full day goes by with no one coming to address the issues and we again go to the front desk to inquire about the issues. They then send maintenance up and said nothing could be done to fix the electrical issues and they offered for us to change rooms. We packed everything back up, changed rooms and unpacked again. The room we were switched to wasn't as spacious or offered the amenities (large shower, large bathroom, etc) the other room offered. That part was okay but Upon checkout the front desk upcharged us for the room THEY switched us to despite it being an inferior room! To add insult to injury they double charged us for resort fees and parking (fees for each room!!) We called them and they stated that they would look into the problem and they saw where they upcharged us, but said it would take several days to refund us. I would HIGHLY recommend you book another hotel, ANY other hotel, this one is no longer worth the price given its decline in customer service (the location has always been sketchy but the service and amenities previously outweighed that negative)
