Customer Reviews
Taylors has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 based on over 489 reviews on Google
One of the few classier places where you can sit outside to enjoy a decent beer with a view. The crowd is not too young, they often play a good selection of dance hits, and typically very friendly. Sundays offer half off on tap beers. Cheers!!
I did not have a good experience the first time and decided to give them a second chance. Now I know for sure they are trash. It really wasn't even that busy and I was sitting at a table with my friend, we didn't get served for 20 minutes. Then when we did get our drinks, a guy at the table next to us got up and fell into our table breaking one of the drinks. All three bartenders were just staring, no one came over, even after I shouted there's a broken glass over here. It took them 5 minutes to get over there to clean the glass up meanwhile people are walking through it spreading it around. Our server was sweet however they need better management. There was an altercation that started at the bar too. Honestly, I would avoid this place.
My friend and I were leaving a club across the street around 2 a.m. after a Halloween event. Unfortunately, she had gotten violently ill from drinking a bit too much. She could barely walk and kept vomiting, so I was trying to find help nearby, mainly water and a safe place for her to sit. We approached Taylor’s and knocked, hoping someone could simply bring us a cup of water. An older gentleman and a younger blonde woman looked directly at us and turned away. I called out clearly, explaining, "Hey, my friend isn’t feeling well could you please bring us some water?" The woman came closer to the door, looked at us again, and then walked away without saying anything. I understand that the bar might have policies after closing, but basic human decency shouldn’t stop at the door. I wasn’t asking to come inside, only for a cup of water for someone clearly in distress. Being ignored in that moment felt incredibly cruel and inhumane, especially when we were just two young women trying to get home safely after a Halloween night out.
Bar staff was amazing and drinks were well priced for the quality. After 2am staff started to clear bar which is reasonable but one bouncer got very ugly with everyone and threw some peoples phones onto Gombe ground even after they left the bar. This was while an intense thunderstorm was pouring down rain on the uncovered exits of the bar. Would have been great experience other than the bouncers acting insane once it hit 2am.
Daniel was the most rude and disrespectful employee they have here. Should be fired other then that the bar was very nice and cute
drinks are nice not expensive very elegent style bar love to see how its so calm enjoying
Great and affordable wine by the glass selection, a $12 charcuterie board, and very kind staff. Highly recommend!
