Hilton Vacation Club Varsity Club South Bend, IN

Stayed here one night on our way through. Its a bit from the highway. But its was quiet and clean. The room was large but a bit worn. It was decorated in a Norte dame theme and would be interesting for fans. It was close to the school. We would stay here again. Breakfast was an expensive add on.

I am here now, my first time staying here and I LOVE it here! The entire staff are the most nicest people I've met. They all go above and beyond to make your stay is as comfortable as possible. The location is also great! This will be my go to hotel whenever I'm staying in the area. Definitely top notch and 5 star!

This place was amazing! I stayed here for a FIRST Lego League competition here in South Bend, and we were exhausted after a long day, and this had great reviews. We're Hilton Members, so we got $25 off a night, but it's only $175 per night, even if you aren't a member! We stayed in a 2 bedroom, and it was phenomenal. There was a good sized kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and 2 HUGE bedrooms! It was very quiet all night, and the breakfast is amazing. Plus, the pool is majestic, and so is the hot tub. My only thing about this place is, why is the hot tub across the hotel from the pool? Otherwise, would definitely stay again!

For the most part this was an excellent choice for our family reunion. The Notre Dame memorabilia gave me a chance to impress my 11-year-old granddaughter of some of the history of that great college. The area provided great shopping and dining experience. The only downside was the pool and hot tub. Both had a high salt content.

I stayed at the vacation Club South Bend for two nights. Overall, it's a good choice with some caveats.||What I liked:|- The hotel is partly renovated and I felt it was overall well done. Rooms really look good.|- My room was also very spacious. For the price I paid (around $130 per night), I would say excellent value.|- Staff was overall very friendly. I appreciate that also cleaning staff would say hello to any guest passing by. |- There's a lot of options for food and snacks in the area.||What I liked less: ||- The room was kind of noisy. I asked for a quiet room and the receptionist confirmed that I would not hear the elevator next to my room. As I noticed during the night, that was not true at all and I could hear the elevator every single time. Also, the Air Con was extremly noisy. |- Hilton Gold benefits were somewhat underwhelming. There's no upgrade or daily credit. The "welcome gift" consisted of two bottles of water. Well...

Our stay was absolutely awesome. The staff was very nice and exceptionally helpful. The room was amazing and absolutely spotless. We will definitely be staying there again.
