My husband and I booked a suite for 6 nights, pre-paying about a week before our arrival. Upon arrival, we were not able to access the key box because no code was sent. Thankfully a manager was still on site and opened the box finding no key inside. After a wait, she found another key for our use. The room was not a suite. It was shabby and in disrepair, light bulbs out, faucets missing parts. Cell reception was bad. We rolled to the center of the bed all night long. The worst part was the wet floor - apparently water seeping in from the ground. We couldn't walk on it barefoot without slipping. All of our clothes were damp. The next morning we packed up and since no personnel were around, we left and managed to book ourselves into a lovely hotel 3 blocks away. We have been trying to get a refund but have received no satisfaction from the owner or from Booking.com. I highly recommend not booking this place. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

This was the absolute worst experience of my life dealing with this place. First off you cant read your key locks so you have no idea which one you are looking for. I sat outside that stupid place for 45 minutes while calling back and forth trying to figure it out. We finally get the key out to go inside..... its supposed to be quiet and family friendly but there was some serious partying on the 1st floor. (We rented the penthouse) so first impressions HORRIBLE! Especially since they made it a point to message me about not partying. Like wow. Okay. Then we get to the stairs.... the railing was about to fall right off so I couldn't use that to safely get to the top floor. After the mile high climb we made with all of our luggage plus two pups... we try the first key... didn't work.. tried the second... didn't work... tried them both again a different way... and them tried a third time... called the damn people AGAIN! Acted like they had no idea what was going on. Honestly this place scammed me put of almost a thousand bucks!!! They better be getting my money back to me. So again we had to climb all the way back down with all of our belongings!?!? And we just went right back to the Best Western in the French quarter... it is sooooo much better and the court yard is way nicer!!! DONT PICK THIS PLACE YOU WILL HATE IT! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

835 Bourbon Street sounds like it might be noisy. It is not. I stayed in the room closest to the street and slept without interruptions. The courtyard was an oasis of calm in what can be madness of Bourbon street. This place is almost across the street from the Clover Grill which is open 24-7 a better place to eat than most hotels offer. The host was very personable and helpful without being intrusive. The room was very well appointed, but come on, this is in the middle of the French Quarter. How much time does one expect to spend in the room.

One of the nastiest places I have ever stayed at. Filth does not say enough. The rat infested dungeon style death trap of a court yard was cleaner then the room. Did not stay was so bad and was told they could not give refund because they could not get it to work. The smell also was bad. No parking with in 2 miles.

Keys to the apartment didn’t work, or only after wiggling for an eternity. Someone on the phone told us there is a trick to open the door: wiggling. Took us half a day to get in and figure that out. Apartment is very used, dead roaches in the bathroom, aircon spewing water into the room and on the carpet. After moving out we have been told there will be a partial refund. This never happened and after we investigated we have been told that they thought about it again and won’t refund. So there you go: lots of hassle and wasting time for a place that needs refurbishment and maintenance and renovation, next to the party mile of New Orleans. Also: when you open the window of the master bedroom there is something that looks like old vomit while the window in another is broken entirely.

My group of 6 including myself booked the penthouse apartment for my twenty first birthday weekend and this airbnb absolutely was a highlight. I’ve personally have had terrible luck with booking in the past where it looks great online but when I got there it was not what was expected. I cannot stress how great this place was!! Spacious, clean, plenty of amazing views from the balcony, I mean really this place was perfect. The vibe was relaxed and safe, I never worried about security and I also appreciated the self check in and check out! Everything was so convenient and when I did run into confusion on my end, the staff both on the phone and in person were very patient, sweet, and willing to help you get the answers you need. I could go on forever about this place from the villa in the middle perfect for late night talks and picture opportunities, to how nice it was after a long night on Bourbon to not have to worry about calling an uber. I will definitely be staying here again!

I honestly don’t know where to start. Positive , great location if you like the chaos/ locality of Bourbon st. I picked this place to experience the guest house experience. Let’s start with the smell of musk and mold so bad we couldn’t barely spend anytime in the room. My asthma was so bad the whole time. I had to sleep with my head under the covers to avoid the smell. The other guests said the same but didn’t have my condition and were drunk half the time anyway. THE DIRT ? not clean at all . Zero ⭐️. Run down filthy. Half the lights not working lights falling out of the ceiling .never see service for anything or anyone to address anything. Water leaking from the shower along with the kitchen faucet having to be turned off with care or it will stay running. Dirty courtyard with a fountain that was totally clogged with leaves and debris. Spent two days trying to get the TV to work. Reached out for help without success. Other guests also complained about the horrible smell and couldn’t get in touch with anyone. Needs updating so bad. I can only hope I don’t end up very sick from my stay. So disappointing. After waiting two years for a vacation to waste it on this place . Come on, do better. I was told there were no other rooms available yet the place was mostly empty.i can’t stress enough about the mold and mildew smell especially in the ground level rooms . Good for a bunch of dudes who will just go there to pass out after a night of drinking
