Everything about Monrose Row is excellent. The location is great - very close to the French Quarter but far enough away to be peaceful. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was spotless! The house was very stylish and in keeping with a NOLA vibe. There was also free, on street parking right outside.||The highlight of our stay was Cindy who is the Innkeeper. She was wonderful in terms of helping with our booking, answering all our questions, suggesting where to go and what to do and just generally so friendly and chatty. She makes a sensational breakfast too!||We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
This location is wonderfully walkable, central to attractions and feels very safe. This refinished home is breathtaking, beautifully appointed and met all of our needs for a girls trip of 3 people. One highlight was the balcony upon which we could enjoy a drink or lunch and watch the quiet street. The beds were very comfortable. And the innkeeper, Cindy, is an absolute delight: very personable and sweet, has fabulous recommendations for your time in New Orleans, and cooks like a goddess. Thinking about her almond French toast has my mouth watering even now…. We will all definitely be back!!!
You will not regret staying at the Monrose B&B. Cindy, the magnificent host of this lovely Bed and Breakfast made our stay absolutely memorable with her attentive care, service and responsiveness. I’ve never felt so welcomed into a strangers home. Not only was our room comfortable but the entire home was absolutely stunning. Attaching some photos of my favorite corners of this home. Location was perfect as it granted us access to the French Quarter (a few blocks of walking but an easy trip). Cindy has all the knowledge you need for some hidden gems including a free sculpture museum we visited thanks to her recommendation. Can’t recommend this place enough! And hoping for an opportunity to go back.
Our family of seven had an absolutely wonderful stay at Monrose Row Bed & Breakfast in New Orleans! From the moment we arrived, Cindy, the proprietor, made us feel incredibly welcome. She was not only warm and accommodating but also a fantastic resource for local recommendations, helping us discover the best restaurants and must-see attractions in the area. The B&B itself is a gem, thoughtfully renovated with no detail overlooked. Every corner reflects care and attention to detail, and the rooms are immaculate. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights after exploring the city.||The breakfasts at Monrose Row are a true highlight – substantial, flavorful, and a perfect start to our days. The location is another major perk; it's an easy walk to the vibrant Frenchmen Art Market and the lively Bourbon Street area, offering plenty of nearby options for food, entertainment, and shopping. Plus, with ample on-street parking available, it made our visit even more convenient. If you're planning a trip to New Orleans, look no further – Monrose Row is the perfect place to stay, combining comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere that truly enhances your experience.
Cindy was an amazing host. The house is beautiful and close to the French Quarter without being too close. Breakfast was delicious and Cindy provided us with lots of information about the city and amazing recommendations. We will be staying at the Monrose Row when we visit again!
I had the most wonderful time staying with Cindy and ManMan the cat. She had a wealth of interesting stories and info about New Orleans to share. Monrose Row is decorated so beautifully! Breakfast was always amazing, and I actually had the best French toast I’ve ever had here! I stayed in the attic room, and it is more spacious and gorgeous than even shown in pictures. The room was nice and cool at night, and the linens were super comfy. It’s far enough away from the French Quarter to get some rest, but close enough to walk there as well. When I come back to New Orleans, I am definitely coming back to stay here. My partner and I and our friends were treated with the utmost courtesy, and I’m so glad we chose to stay at such a unique place.
I dont think there are enough words to describe how amazing our stay was at Monrose Row! ||Right in a quiet, idyllic part of the city and only a few steps away from The French Quarter, this was the best B&B my husband and I have ever experienced! The home and the room itself was absolutely stunning. Spacious, gorgeously decorated and so comfortable! It really did feel like home. ||Now to the best part. Cindy! The owner of the place is honestly one of the best people ever. We were lucky enough to be the only guests at the time over the weekend and so every day we loved getting to talk to Cindy and hear about the property, her life and our mutual interests! ||She was so kind and welcoming and she made incredible breakfasts every morning. I have gluten and dairy allergies and she was so kind and made sure I was able to have a full and complete breakfast every morning. She made the most delicious gluten and dairy free muffins and waffles, and I felt so included and cared for!||I also had some pretty nasty bug bites that I got from walking around the city and she immediately took care of me and helped me get some creams and medicines to help with the bug bites. She honestly felt more like a caring family member than a person we had just met!||And the cherry on top of everything was her cat, Man Man! We love cats and when I went into the courtyard one time the big orange kitty came up to me and was so friendly and sweet. I just melted! ||I honestly was so sad to leave and I wanted to stay forever! Next time we come to NOLA we will ONLY be staying here. And I am telling all of my family and friends to stay as well. The best experience ever!
