My wife and I stayed two nights last weekend. It's now our favorite hotel in the Crescent City! (and that says a lot) The entire place vibed in concert with the classiest part of the quarter. You're Bourbon adjacent, but that party level (which has it's place) seems to kinda stay on that street. The art, the old-time downstairs area, the staircase, the cats that sleep on couches, the gardens, fountains, ferns growing from bricks, cute pool, rooms, views from the balcony... all perfect. And the staff was amazing... from the established to the new guy... They were effortlessly friendly, professional, artsy, and genuinely seemed to enjoy working there... which says a ton to me. We fly in to NOLA once a year, but now we're going back in 6 months because the city is the best. A big part of that decision is on the strength of our incredible stay at Olivier House Hotel.

Lovely place to stay. We had a little loft room with a balcony and chandelier. Very romantic!

This was literally the best hotel experience we have ever had!!! The staff were absolutely incredible and helpful and kind. There were free snacks (biscotti, clementines, little donut holes, etc) and free water bottles in the common area which was so nice. The property was super old and cool while being one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed!!!! We booked a queen room and think we were upgraded to a king room. The bed was sooooo comfortable and as mentioned- SO clean!!!! The only downside are the walls are really thin but luckily we were only next to a crying kid and not insanely drunk people :p. Location was right off bourbon if you’re into that, but was super quiet and safe. All in all, this place exceeded our expectations and I would 100% recommend!!

My husband and I had a quick stay at Olivier. It was the coolest, and most unique hotel I've ever been to. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. As Canadians we felt very welcomed throughout, and wouldn't hesitate to return. The kitties are all friendly, and added to the cozy vibe for sure. Common areas are gorgeous, and the use of the space is just awesome. If you're a vintage lover, and want to experience southern hospitality at it's finest, book a room! Much love y'all ❤️

My girlfriend and I stayed here the week of New Year’s and overall had a great experience. The hotel is really unique, it honestly feels like staying in an antique shop, complete with cats wandering around the property. Our room was nice, but not quite as impressive as some of the two-story rooms we saw. If I could do it again, I’d definitely splurge on a larger room because those looked awesome. The location is hard to beat. It’s right in the heart of the French Quarter and within walking distance of tons of bars, restaurants, and attractions, but surprisingly quiet. If you’re looking for a sleek, modern hotel with all the latest amenities, this probably isn’t it. But if you want a one-of-a-kind stay with tons of character and friendly staff in the French Quarter, this place is absolutely worth it.

We had a fantastic stay here with my girlfriend and our 8-year-old. The location is perfect—easy walking distance to Bourbon Street and the action, but the hotel itself was quiet and peaceful. The rooms were spotless, and the pool was very clean (which we really appreciated). The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and nice throughout our stay. Also, a huge plus for New Orleans: they made the parking situation incredibly simple for us. Highly recommend this place for families or couples looking for a great spot in the French Quarter!

If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind hotel with a Disney-like Pirates of the Caribbean meets Haunted Mansion atmosphere, this is the place. Each room is uniquely designed, and the entire hotel exudes rich 1800s New Orleans charm. Family-owned and exceptionally well managed, the property is spotless, the staff is wonderful, and the overall vibe is truly unforgettable. Valet parking is mandatory, but it’s absolutely worth it—efficient, seamless, and reassuringly secure for your vehicle. You may even be greeted by three friendly resident cats lounging in the lobby and hallways—something my daughter absolutely loved. Although it’s just one block from Bourbon Street, I honestly preferred spending time exploring the hotel and its unique rooms rather than walking the strip. It still feels safe, quiet, and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again. Five stars.
