The Quisby

It was not so expensive. The bed was ok although I prefer a harder mattress. No fridge on my room. sheets are polyester so sweaty and glitsy. Window can not open and like the other hotels this tour the air is stale. Good shower, quantity of towels and soaps. even an iron and table. I was on side so not too much sun or trafic noise.|But do not use the laundry with your credit card. It is hacked and from Vietnam tries to get money from it. The credit card company suspected and called. Now the credit card is not use able for reservations which is very irritant. It seemed to happen more often.| Breakfast also ok. Free parking nearby and neas stop of streetcar number 12 right to the famous Broad Street. 3 dollar for 24 hours riding, pensioners 80 cents. High frequency .|Good choice

Positive: Loved the shower; the hot water never ran out! Major plus, given the heat & humidity. I enjoyed the music & the bar in the lobby. The staff were friendly. Right across the street from the streetcar. Close to Quarter & Garden District. Negative: ""

My friend stayed at the quisby a few days after Mardi Gras. Its no Marriott for sure. No microwave, small room, attendant pretends to know nothing about parking. No one wants car to be towed. Its crazy. Doesn't feel safe. All night my friend said that they heard snoring from another room. It's creepy. The shower had soap scum and dirt around the shower door. The reviews doesn't support the actual reality. A good review has to be earned. Few towels. The price IS NOT WORTH IT!!!! It is a very noisy place!!!

So this hotel is probably thr closest hotel tests on the West side of St. Charles. For Marti Gras viewing thst last weekend I thought this location of the parade route was good for viewing the parade, just not listening because the bands had tired out. Fair, but disappointing. 20 some bands passed in Muses and not 1 played at this stretch. It's not as crowded, plenty of space for the most part, and could go to room for relief. The hotel itself, folks were nice. While needing to screen people entering during the parades they were always inviting to us when we returned. From storing our luggage on the first day to the time we checked out, always nice, albeit a little exhausted. I have to think it's just how MG is for folks. Continental breakfast items were sparse, but again, I chalk that up to delivery disruption from Marti Gras. The hotel worked out well for us. Shower's volume and pressure was the best ever...and bed was comfortable.

Honestly everything I needed in this one space, and its in the perfect area! The staff are super friendly and I enjoyed my stay. Only cons would be the very limited breakfast (i think the options could be a lot better and still would not require staff to make it) and you can hear alot through the walls. Besides that very comfortable stay, would stay here again for a quick trip!

It has been so far a great experience. The rooms are clean and the location is amazingly convenient to go around place and very safe area. I have been receiving great service from the staff and Demetrius at the front desk was really helpful and had given me very valuable information about the places. As well the others have met me with great smiles and made me comfortable in the hotel. Thank you guys at the quisby

Perfect location if you want to be center of parade action. Not so good if you are trying to get there on parade days because the roads are all blocked off to the hotel. The complimentary breakfast is awful. Coffee was good and the staff gave excellent service all with a smile a good vibes.
