The International Cozy Inn

This was our 1st visit to Harlem (our first vist to NY in fact). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the International Cozy Inn. GREAT family owned lodgings, awesome location in Harlem. If you want to be waited on, this might not be the place for you. But if you want privacy, delightful ambiance, friendly owners with reasonable prices, this is the place for you. They aim to please. They are not perfect, but who is?? (Not me for sure). Very pleased with our experience. First choice if we visit again!

I didn't know what to expect after I booked this last minute when airbnb cancelled my account and reservation. It is kind of an odd place, but in a good way. It is very different compared to your typical hotel room and that's what makes it interesting. Plus there is Whole foods is right across the street! The host's were fantastic and helpful. It is very convenient to the train in a diverse neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed 2 nights at this BEAUTIFUL sophisticated hotel and was greeted by two of the most sweetest human beings I’ve ever crossed in this line of business (the owners), I felt safe and was really taken back at how beautiful the entry way all the way to how my room was. My eyes just lit up! It was breath taking! This was my home away from home! The cleanliness from top to bottom made me feel like I was in heaven! The room was so cool and welcoming, the beautiful kitchen area, the bathroom, the space was just perfect! My first night asleep in the most comfortable bed I laid on in a while, had make waking up feeling rejuvenated and ready to take on New York! I will definitely be back and I will most definitely be recommending the International Cozy Inn to everyone I come in contact with! A beautiful hotel accompanied by two beautiful ladies who make sure all needs are met is where one should be each and every time they come to Harlem!

I stayed for 3 weeks whilst on business. Never been to Harlem before so was unsure at first. BUT I dint want to leave when I had to move further south. Loved Harlem. I stayed in a few different rooms, nice having a room with own bathroom but no a problem if you had to use the one on the landing. Big rooms, Nice to have small kitchen areas in each room. The staff were the best part - all really happy to help, GREAT STAFF

We booked one month in advance for a famaly suite. At our arrival at 1 pm we left our lugguges at the reception and we have been told to come back a bit later so our room will be ready. Once we got back they told us that our room was not longer available because they had some problems with flood in the room. They wanted to show us the room but this looked to be empty since a very long time, it was dirty, all covered by blankets and completely dry. They wanted to give us another room which was also dirty and in a state of disrepair but we did not accept. We obviously were very disappointed because we had to find in a hurry another place to go. We do not suggest this place, photos do not correspond to reality the rooms we saw looked very old and in a state of disrepair.

Stayed here with my 71 year old mother for 4 nights in big room with kitchen sofa and private bathroom (quite small though) Location is 2 mins walk to 125thstreet metro which then takes maybe 10 to 15 mins to times Square. Walking from top central park maybe 10 mins or so. Had some reservations staying in Harlem but was fine in the end. No one bothered us. By the metro is a big whole foods store, I will be buying my breakfast from there when it opens at 7am. I went to Lolo seafood shack nearby which was also good. The staff are really friendly , had some small issue with that room and it was resolved the next day. Free strong WiFi, Netflix on tv. Paid by credit card which was accepted. Rooms are clean. yes if you want a different experience in Harlem with excellent links to a metro to times Square you should stay here.
