The Armadillo Hotel Odessa

A decent stay. Nothing spectacular. Food is meh. Highway access to it is really bad with the construction and if there is weather, I hope you have a truck when it rains because its definitely a flood zone. Its a bed and a hot shower. Not terrible.

FOOD POISONING! I am a oilfield worker, and I got scheduled at work to stay at this hotel for one week because we had work in Odessa. They told me that the hotel serves food, which would make it a lot Easier And that I could eat breakfast and dinner at this hotel I was excited about it because I didn’t have to wake up and go hunt for breakfast before heading to work.. on the third day i got really sick Started throwing up I had a fever, dizziness, and nausea.. i ended up in urgent care. The doctor told me that I had. Contracted a bacteria Because of the food

Decent place to stay. Food is hit and miss. Gym is decent. Only negative would be housekeeping. They have no respect for daytime sleepers. Super loud all throughout the day

Raydean the manager here at armadillo was amazing. So friendly and gave great advice. I had my wallet stolen from my car. She recommended on what to do. Now the rooms are very spacious compared to Target. It has its own shower not shared like target which means a lot. The food is great in the cafeteria. Everyone very friendly.

It was a short stay. One night only. Easy access to your room. You will need your phone. They use a QR code to access your room.

I had accidentally left my wallet in my jeans when I put them in the washer (free washer and dryer btw) and a lovely member of the staff was kind enough to put my clothes in the dryer for me and turn my wallet into the front desk! I couldn’t be more thankful for all the staff here everyone is kind and honest!

Rooms only get cleaned once a week. Food wasn't that great but they did have good sandwiches to go for lunch. Rooms are very small. Be nice if they had better shower curtains. But overall it wasn't that bad. Could just be better.
