The Peregrine Omaha Downtown, Curio Collection by Hilton

All in all, our review of this 4-star hotel is that it's actually more of a 2.5 star-hotel, under the guise of a 4-star hotel - through some seriously-enhanced photos on their website. We paid over $1,000 in room charges, parking and fees and weren't able to enjoy any of the amenities the Peregrine claimed to offer, or even enjoy it at all, to say the least. We felt as though we got the 'room in the basement with the red stapler' and would have been much more comfortable at a basic chain hotel. This was something we treated ourselves to and splurged on, only for it to end up being disappointment after disappointment. 10/10 - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Entire review posted below.

Have a daughter at Creighton U. Come to Omaha 2-3x a year. Usually try to stay at Indigo but often times is full. We tried the Peregrine this time as alternative because the rate was good. The hotel is beautiful. I don’t know if they recently renovated the rooms but our room was as nice as a Ritz-Carlton. Our room, 301, didn’t have a view it looked out over a rooftop at another building but we kept curtains closed anyways. It meant that our room didn’t have any road noise like we get when we stay at Indigo or Even hotels here. I believe all the 01 rooms here have this feature. The TV and bathroom were really nice. Great bed and pillows. Had nice reading lights and phone cord outlets by bed. The restaurant and rooftop bar are being renovated but you can have order a breakfast entree for $15. Good workout facility. This will be our new first choice when coming to Omaha. We liked it more than the Kimpton. One shortcoming is nothing to do nearby.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Peregrine hotel in downtown Omaha! It's such a cute, modern boutique hotel with lots of character and an art-deco-inspired feel. Our room was very quiet, cozy and tucked away with a gorgeous view of the Peregrine courtyard. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated little touches like the Nespresso machine, plush robes, and a welcome screen on the TV. Service was consistently great—friendly staff at the front desk, prompt valet, and a quick check-in process. I didn’t dine in the on-site restaurant (The Habitat), but I did enjoy the rooftop bar (The Takeoff), which had great cocktails and a relaxed vibe with amazing skyline views. This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in and would definitely go back!

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in, and at a reasonable price! Really cool concept in terms of design/theme of the halls and rooms and an awesome view from our window into the courtyard. Really nice room and bathroom, and cool rooftop bar. The type of hotel you can enjoy just hanging out at.

This hotel is great. The location was amazing for our trip. Just off the beaten path enough to be quiet, but also super close to all the Omaha stuff. Melodie was super helpful with everything throughout our stay. Dana was lovely also. She let us check in super early (we were in the Amtrak) and even showed us the rooftop bar that wasn’t quite open yet. Highly recommend. The only "negative" would be the shower. It was either scolding hot or ice cold… and the pressure wasn’t amazing. Might be a cold weather thing. But, wouldn’t stop us from staying again!

I had a truly amazing stay at this location. The rooms are beautiful and the front office staff was amazing. Myself, my sister and my mother all had rooms there for a family emergency and this location was a peaceful respite from the problems we were dealing with. Nori and Melodie were working the front desk for most of our sat and they were absolutely incredible. You could not ask for two better people to be representing your hotel. The only problem was that I was on floor 6 and the water pressure was pretty terrible but I was so exahausted from family stuff that I never ended up telling them so not giving the opportunity to fix that was on me.

Wonderful stay. I was traveling for business and will definitely stay again for business or travel for fun. The hotel was very clean and the staff were so friendly. The downstairs was decorated and inviting. Great to just sit and have drinks at the bar or chat. I arrived late due to flight delays. I was able to call ahead and order dinner with the kitchen before they closed and pick up warm food as soon as I arrived. They were incredibly kind about it. I have had hotels that make you feel bad for ordering close to when kitchens close and it sucks. They didn’t. They were super gracious and the food was actually delicious. I would be happy to stay and spend money on property because it was worth spending for good drinks and food. The lady at the front the desk and the bartender deserve a raise for being professional courteous and prompt. Looking forward to staying again.
