Staybridge Suites Oxnard - River Ridge by IHG

We spent 6 nights in a King Studio on the second floor overlooking the golf course. Our room was sunny and spacious. There were 2 closets to hold our belongings. Our bed had quality linens. The pillows were perfect as well as the mattress. We made good use of the full sized refrigerator and dishwasher. It took us awhile to learn to use the cooktop. Finally called the front desk as there were no instructions in the kitchen. Then, it worked fine.There was a laundry room where we washed and dried our clothes. $4.00 per load to wash or dry and $4.00 for a small box of detergent. It was convenient. Breakfast was very nice each day with a variety of hot and cold foods. We would stay there again ! Hotel staff was helpful and very welcoming and kind.

Great location, quiet, plenty of amenities large hot tub (didn't use the pool), comfortable bed, spacious quarters, nice kitchen, plenty of updates, blackout curtains. Friendly, helpful staff, tasty free breakfast. I just can't say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back here for all our Oxnard and Ventura visits. Please don't change a thing, you're a 10 of 10!

recently stayed here for 4 nights to visit my boyfriends sisters and the property was really nice and spacious and the location is great! (Right by the collection) it was a huge plus to have a stove top and a big fridge compared to the small fridge you usually get when staying at a hotel. I loved being able to reheat my leftover food on the stove top and/or microwave 🙂 the room was spacious for us to do arts and crafts at the table. there are multiple pools which we enjoyed. the bed was very comfortable along with the pillows. the hotel parking lot is currently under construction but that wasn’t a problem for us, there was/is still plenty of parking. I’m not much of a morning eater so I can’t comment on the breakfast they provide. I overall had a great stay at this hotel and this will be our hotel to stay at for future oxnard visits!

Our veterans reunion at Staybridge Suites Oxnard – River Ridge exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and genuinely attentive to our group’s needs. Their hospitality made every guest feel respected and appreciated. The accommodations were excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-appointed—perfect for a large group traveling from all over. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was relaxed, friendly, and ideal for bringing people together. Dining was truly exceptional. Serving a high-quality dinner for 300 guests in record time is no small feat, and they executed it flawlessly. The food was delicious, well prepared, and served efficiently with a smile—something our group noticed and deeply appreciated. Simply put, this was by far the best hotel our veterans group has ever used for a reunion. The staff, accommodations, dining, and overall atmosphere were outstanding. A huge shoutout to the Sales Team and staff—they are incredibly professional and went above and beyond for our group. ​The Evening Reception was a major highlight of our stay. It’s a fantastic perk that really brings guests together; the food was fresh, the atmosphere was relaxed, and having complimentary drinks and appetizers made our evenings much more enjoyable. It’s rare to find a hotel reception that feels this welcoming. ​The suites are spacious, clean, and fully equipped with kitchens, overlooking the beautiful River Ridge Golf Course. Between the great breakfast and the evening socials, you really feel taken care of here. Highly recommended for any large event or extended stay!

The breakfast was good sized but I think they were a bit under ready fir the crowd. Day 1 the juice machine was completely out. They ran out of bacon, I watched people scraping the scraps and then the oatmeal ran out. The 2nd day was better, though they had someone checking ypur name and room, and the 3rd day a lot less crowded and fine. The suite rooms with the lofts, the slightest walk in the loft makes quite a bit of noise. Also there is a motion sensor light in the bathroom and it's a bright light, so the middle of the night, it really will shock you! And apparently there's no way to turn that off. Have a much less bright mirror light that would be maybe okay to have on a motion sensor.

We had a fantastic stay at Staybridge Suites Oxnard – River Ridge and would absolutely come back. Location-wise, it’s hard to beat: you’re right next to major shopping centers and the Premium Outlets, and the hotel sits peacefully beside a golf course—the view from the breakfast area is genuinely relaxing. At the same time, it’s very close to the highway, which makes getting around super easy, yet the environment stays surprisingly quiet. The property itself feels special: instead of one big building, it’s made up of charming small "houses" with four rooms each, which creates a calm, private atmosphere. Our room was spacious, bright, and extremely well-equipped—everything you need for a comfortable stay is there. Cleanliness and service were top-tier. The entire place was spotless, and every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The hotel was also beautifully decorated for Christmas, which made it feel extra welcoming and cozy. A special shoutout goes to Carlitos at the breakfast buffet—he is truly exceptional. He takes care of everything with a smile, is incredibly kind, and makes sure guests are comfortable and well looked after. He genuinely elevates the whole breakfast experience. Highly recommended. Great atmosphere, great rooms, great people.
