I was surprised how modern and updated this hotel was for the price we paid. It has an amazing reception or lobby area. It smells great upon entry. This hotel has onsite parking. The room was clean, updated, spacious, and the shower was the best park. The steady hot water, and powerful stream relaxed me for the night. Getting into the bed felt like I was wrapped in a cloud pillow. The sheets felt soft and not itchy. Simply a great experience! I wish we kept the booking for this place longer over the flashy (but deceiving) pictures we saw of Sonesta that caused us to book 2 different hotels. The two cannot compare! Great job Courtyard!
It was overall a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy and painless. The food in the bistro was also a pleasant surprise, not too expensive and good quality. I tried the quesidillas and waffles and strawberries. Only complaint is the shower was not draining as well as it should have. Would stay again
I don’t know who the heck yall have for HR but how is EVERY front desk worker you have whether day , night, or night audit friendly warm and polite ? I have stayed at this property over 5 times in the last year. I am never disappointed. At times I stay using a discount code and even doing so I never get treated any less like at some properties. My room is always clean. I think it’s crazy that bc the hotel is a little older it’s a 3star. I recommend you all as a friendly safe spacious affordable clean property.
Let’s hear it for this hotel. 5 stars, because, let’s face it it’s a Courtyard and for that price point it hits all the boxes. I stay in a lot of Marriott’s for work travel, and this one had everything I needed and was a nice stay. The room was big and clean, and yes had some small cosmetic imperfections, but for a night or two was very comfortable. On site there was a large pool and large fitness center. The bistro was complete with a bar, coffee shop, and TVs if you need to wind down and don’t want to leave the property. It’s in a business park, so for me was walking distance to all my meetings. There’s several restaurants nearby as well. A short drive away is a very cool Iron Works district and access to nature trails. And if you are passing through, it’s very close to the interstate. Super helpful staff and a nice hotel for a great price. Hard to beat it.
Very unimpressive. Entry level staff seems kind but lack training. Room was just okay, obvious wear and tear. Shower was only warm first day and I was surprised issue was fixed for second morning. Attempting to get to my room second morning, one elevator was not acknowledging multiple guests key cards. Trying to figure out the issue, elevator ended up being called to the basement and we had to walk back up stairs to lobby. When I returned from a full day at work, elevator had same issue and not notice hung to alert other guests. I am was staying for business so just wanted a smooth and uneventful stay. Also decided to hop in pool after second day of work to stretch out my back…pool was not heated to warm either. Too many other options, probably won’t stay here again.
We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Philly while in town for our godson’s christening, and overall we were thoroughly impressed! The staff was friendly, the hotel was clean, and the atmosphere was welcoming for families traveling with kids. The gym was well-kept and had everything needed for a good workout. A couple of things to note: there’s no complimentary breakfast, which can be a bit inconvenient when traveling with children. The pool hours also ended earlier than we would’ve liked—we didn’t get a chance to take the boys for a swim. On the plus side, the location was excellent. The hotel is very close to restaurants and stores, we found an amazing breakfast spot just 4 minutes away, and it’s only about 15 minutes from the zoo and other local attractions. Overall, a positive experience, and we’d definitely consider staying here again for future visits to Philly.
I stayed at this hotel 3x for work since I am a hybrid employee traveling from North Carolina. I was charged a smoking fee this time for my stay- I DO NOT SMOKE. I have complained several times of problems with the room and also smelling weed in my room as I don’t partake in that (nothing wrong with anyone park taking bc that is their business). But to be accused of lying - I will not tolerate. I have no reason to lie or compromise my integrity. Now I will stay this- being up-north is an eye opener and definitely screams loud - discrimination on who they perceive me to be- judging my skin and not my character. I will never stay at this hotel again. Get your hotel in order- I was warned about this hotel, and I should have just listened.
