Perfectly location in Rittenhouse Square neighborhood. You are one mile from Independence Hall. You are within steps from great food, great coffee, and great shopping. I was very impressed with the restaurants on site, and would absolutely return. I also booked through the Chase Travel Portal. Highly recommend if you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve. Great EDIT hotel property.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Sofitel Philadelphia in a one-bedroom suite, and we had a wonderful experience. The extra space made our stay feel especially comfortable, and I loved that the room came with robes and slippers. The bathroom was also spacious, which was a nice bonus. While the bed didn’t include a top sheet initially, the staff quickly brought one up as soon as I requested it. We were also lucky to be on the top floor, which gave us a beautiful view of the city. One of my favorite perks was the daily $22 resort credit that we could use at the bar. The bar itself had a great happy hour with fair prices, and the Thursday night DJ was such a fun touch—we didn’t even feel the need to go out our first night. The location is perfect. We were able to walk to most places, and many of the restaurants we visited, including Butcher and Singer, were only about a 10-minute walk away. We only used rideshares for trips that were over 15 minutes. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Overall, we had a fantastic stay, and I truly can’t wait to go back!

This was the best!!! Several times we commented how nice it was to be so centrally located to everything. In the heart of center city surrounded by world class food! Impeccable service and a super comfortable bed! The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Also the teabags in the room were incredible! I will say this it was new years and the family across the hall was letting the kids make noise until the wee hours of the morning with their door open. But that’s not the hotels fault, it was just really noisy because the kids were screaming right outside our door.

Room was very dusty. Especially in the corners and against the walls. Had to call maintenance for an issue with the bathroom sink. It should have been flagged by housekeeping prior, it was an obvious issue. My rate included breakfast, but not sales tax, nor gratuity. This is the only hotel in the world where I have experienced this nonsense. Monday's breakfast buffet was subpar compared to the weekend options, but yet the price stayed the same? Also, no a-la-carte options were available on Monday. Restaurant and room service were understaffed. Had to cancel a room service beverage (only) order after waiting 35 minutes for coffee and juice at 11am Sunday. Overall, food was good quality though, but not worth the price. Front desk staff were very nice, along with the F&B staff. Bed was comfy. Room was quiet. The only other Accor properties I have stayed in were the Sofitel Grand Cartagena and the Banyan Tree Mayakoba. Granted, those are 5 star properties vs a 4 star, but I had expected more from Sofitel.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times. I love the location and the staff but the cleanliness leaves much to be desired. I stayed in a luxury suite which was spacious enough but in dire need of renovation. I don't mind old or dated but there is no excuse for dirt and dust...there was plenty of both. I accidentally spilled a drink on the hardwood floor and cleaned it up...the cloth I used was black. That is totally unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. The lobby and reception area are lovely, but the rooms/suites are not in the same league at all. I felt it a good idea to purchase some Clorox wipes and do my best with the room...really shouldn't have to do that at this price point. I am unsure if I will return to this hotel due to the cleanliness issues. The sad thing is that it is not a difficult thing to correct...train your staff...make the expectations clear. It's just a question of mopping floors and vacuuming...how difficult is that? I have seen so many reviews of this hotel talking about the lack of cleanliness...it is one of the easiest things to fix...so fix it!!!! I was just looking at all the negative reviews, and it seems that the Sofitel has some kind of Ai response...all the responses are identical...hardly imparts much faith in the chance of the issues being corrected!

We came to Philadelphia for a family wedding which was held near .The hotel was charming. The location was excellent. The service by staff was very good. The buffet breakfast was delicious and lots of choices. The room was comfortable. Not enough places to store your clothing , etc for a 5 night stay. Walk in shower was a plus. Very little room to store your personal toiletries. Hotel staff were more than accommodating to any needs we had. The bed and linens were so comfortable! I would have liked a room on a higher floor with a better view, but not available.

We stayed in one of the premier corner suites and had a lovely time. The room was clean and had almost everything you could want. The layout was great for our family of three traveling with a young child. There was a lot of space and the layout really worked well (we especially loved the little dressing area off of the bedroom). The bar, restaurant and lobby were also decorated beautifully for the holidays which was lovely. As others have mentioned the vallet did seem slow but it seemed to only be an issue around busy/high volume times like when people are usually checking in and out. But if you plan accordingly it wasn't too bad. All of the staff were kind and helpful, especially the restaurant staff. We had a really lovely breakfast that had great buffet options. I would highly recommend Sofitel Philadelphia and would love to stay again next time we are back in town.
