Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pleasant Prairie / Kenosha by IHG

The service from the time we checked in til we left was great. The room was very comfortable. It was also clean as was the bathroom. The staff was informed and polite. We had breakfast the next morning and there was plenty to choose from. We've stayed here before and will again.

The hotel was under renovation. We asked for and were given top floor| No hassle about my service dog. Room was very nice and clean minimal dust above door frames etc. Slight artificial fragrance odor in room. Beds were only ok. A bit firm for me. Breakfast was again only ok.

Great location. All hotels near six flags we well over $50 more a night. This hotel was 20 minutes away north so the drive was easy. The rooms were large and clean. The breakfast was warm and delicious. They were also welcoming. Some hotels stare at you while getting breakfast, they made sure things were full and clean but did not hover over the area. We normally stay at the double tree in Pleasant Prairie for our family Xmas party but we will be going to this hotel instead. We didn’t use the pool or fitness center but they did look clean and nice.

Second time staying at this location. Breakfast was good and check out time is noon! Friendly staff and clean rooms. Pool was cold but kids didn’t mind. I hope they open their hot tub back up soon.

We have gone here multiple times as this is the hotel my family and I stay at when we visit the Renaissance Faire. This most recent visit will definitely make it so we try a different place next vacation. The pool is absolutely disgusting. There was green algae in it all over and there wasn't even a hint of chlorine smell. It's obvious it's not being cleaned and maintained properly. The breakfast in the morning is very good which is the only reason I did not give them one star. **Edit after the response from the owner**. I understand there shouldn't be a huge chlorine smell but there should be something. The pool was cold, dirty and algae was all over the place. Speaking of the algae, why didn't you address that in your response? Or is that normal as well? Again it was obvious the pool isn't being maintained as there should not be green algae showing up at all.

staffs are friendly, room is clean the only cons is they only have one washer and dryer set, that only takes coins, which could be a little inconvenient if you need to do the laundry.

It was a very comfortable bed. This day was uneventful and quiet. The only thing we didn't have a hot tub and that's one of the things we were looking for. The pool room was very clean. Our room was clean. The fridge and the microwave was clean as well. Staff was very accommodating and nice. Overall it was a pleasure for us. Thank you
