Ocean's Edge Hotel, Port Aransas,TX

Great, affordable hotel! It's very close to the nature center (for bird watching enthusiasts), close to the Ferry, and lots of good food options! The staff was so nice and welcoming. The room was SO CLEAN, and smelled very good. I was honestly shocked how nice the room was based on the price alone. Also, I got ARRESTED and put in Nueces County jail, and they helped me with my dogs, items, etc., and welcomed me back with open arms and kindness after a very traumatic experience. Needless to say, I will absolutely recommend Oceans Edge to anyone who visits, and will definitely come back next year for the Whooping Crane festival again.

Positive: Friendly staff and the breakfast. Negative: A lot of people were smoking and kind of trashed the outside area. The hotel was fine but some of the guests made it annoying.

This is our favorite place to stay when we go to Port A. The breakfasts are the best around. The best value is to go between Oct and Feb. We stay every year here for our anniversary weekend and its just wonderful. Clean rooms, staff friendly enough to make you feel like a friend coming home after being stationed across the globe.

Ocean’s Edge Hotel was a great hotel for the price I paid! Very clean and staff was courteous. Delicious breakfast and nice happy hour! Outdoor patios are a nice addition outdoor area to hang out. Pool area had private areas for families. Dog area was enclosed with turf. Ability to rent golf carts on premise was a great perk. Centrally located and was close to the beach access. Walking distance to souvenir shops and dining options.

Honestly could not have had a better 4 days! The staff was so friendly! The breakfast was top tier evey morning ❤️ and the room service was amazing too she always got us clean towels daily and made the beds! This place is by far the best I’ve stayed at! So relaxing me and my little family will definitely be back! Thank you to the whole staff’

Great price, nice pool. Rooms were clean, better than most island places. Lots of parking. Golf cart rentals onsite were a huge bonus. We're not really drinkers anymore, but a complimentary happy hour from 5-7 is above and beyond. Room service caught me in the room on the 3rd day, so I was able to trade out dirty towels for clean ones. Free ice on site was awesome as well. Breakfast was a bonus, only wish there were more diabetic friendly options, but there were different egg options each day we stayed, with bacon and sausage. Coffee was hot and fresh. Close to most shops, and a straight drive to the beach in one direction and to Robert's Point and dining in the other. Overall, great place. We'll be using them again.

Overall our stay at Oceans Edge was very pleasant! The only complaint I had was the fact the restroom smelled like pee 😷 But other than that everything was good! The pool is cute and a chill spot, and very clean. Room service stopped by every day to offer clean towels and toilet paper. The area around us felt safe and it was quiet, we also really loved that everything was nearby. Room AC was suppperrr cold which is great, place was clean when we arrived, big smart TV’s!
