Dye House

Very modern rooms with nice artful touches, in a converted industrial building. We wanted to stay to have quick walking access to the fete music hall which it was perfect for. The stay was very nice with convenient access to the building and convenient parking. It seems like there are only four rooms so it was very different from other places I have stayed before, it was very quiet and peaceful! Lots of other walkable locations near by too. Also if you are an extreme introvert it’s perfect, all code access.

Stayed overnight for a work fundraiser and absolutely loved it. The space is beautiful — modern yet cozy — and the location was perfect for our event. I felt completely safe coming and going with the access code provided. The staff were incredibly helpful both during the fundraiser and in the planning stages beforehand. Highly recommend for anyone hosting an event or looking for a stylish stay in Providence.

We booked the Dye House for our wedding and it was amazing! The venue is just the right size for a small wedding. We had 60 people and it was just right! We did the full weekend buyout which gave us a lot of flexibility. The Dye House staff was very professional and are wedding experts!

The guest cannot independently control the room temperature — you must text someone and hope they respond. Unbelievable. Also, the Twill suite is nice but there are no drawers, closets or clothes hangers — there is literally no place to unpack a suitcase. If I had thought about what being "an invisible service hotel" implied, I would have thought twice.

Location - very convenient for my needs. Security system - excellent. Service - no one on the premises - only available by text. Room - cement floor with no rugs - industrial view - room lighting minimal - only one chair for 2 people.

I booked a one night stay & night on the town on Federal Hill!!! We took an Uber back & forth so this was perfect! I loved the fact that this is an offsite concierge as I tend to be someone who loves walking into and out of some places without having to do any small talk to strangers so I loved that. We stayed in the Heddle suite sooooo comfy, I loved the natural light and a posh vibe. The coffee maker in the room is too complicated however, I made my way to the main area and found a K cup maker that worked fine. This is a really neat place and perfect for our short surprise birthday one nighter stay! I can think of lots of reasons to rent the venue space as well. This is a really neat way to stay somewhere different than the usual hotel. I think some frost on the bathroom glass (for privacy) and perhaps a curtain on one of the non functional doors (I didn’t like the look & feeling of it, paper towels were shoved in the cracks & frame and some weird foam thing on the bottom of it) in the Heddle suite. Covering it instead would be great. The bed was sooooo comfy!!!! I totally recommend it here and would come back! Not a neighborhood for walking but I don’t walk around any hotel so that didn’t matter to us! Uber is perfect! Definitely such a cooool place ! Thank you we enjoyed it!

Awesome place! My husband and I stayed in The Loft and our only regret was not staying longer. Room was incredible and spacious, super affordable. Easy access in and out. Clean. Free parking space right on site. Good bar/restaurant right next door. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Providence. If you’re looking for a rad, unique spot - this is it! Located in an up and coming industrial area. I could see where this may not appeal to others but it did not bother us much. Would rate walkability low but no worries if you have a car- so close to downtown. Not the safest area, do not recommend walking around especially at night- few unsafe scenarios we encountered.
