I had a nice stay here. The room was clean and I liked the art in my room. The hotel was quiet, much quieter than I expected considering the location is in a popular nightlife area. Staff was friendly and helpful, too (shout-out to the night desk worker who was super fun to talk with). My only real complaint is that my bed and pillows were way too firm - I had trouble sleeping as a result. Other than that, my stay was pleasant.

My friend stayed here for long term (a few months) and I visited several times. He would rave about how much he loved the cleaning service here. It’s a little tacky inside for me but they seemed to like it. The hallways and stuff are a bit creepy and there never seems to be anyone at the front desk but he had a balcony suite so he could just throw his keys down to me outside. The only time I talked to a desk person I asked about the rates and they pretty much told me I couldn’t stay there if I wanted to and gave me no additional information lol but the people who did live here really liked it.

We had a terrible experience start to finish. There's no direct access to the entrance of the hotel so we had to carry our luggage through a crowded pedestrian square and up a set of stairs in the near 40 Celsius degree heat. The halls and room smelled of air freshener or bleach. The rooms are small and modest. They had no curtains and it filled with artificial light from the square at night. The shower curtain collapsed. We returned from a day out and about to find the toilet clogged... We don't know how the cleaner could have missed it. The staff were either absent, unhelpful or unresponsive. The best thing about the place was the check out.

Great location. Our balcony overlooked the patios of the restaurants with a very pretty fountain. Room exceed our expectations. Has a full refrigerator and stove as well as dishes and tableware. Some pots, pans and utensils. Floors are tile throughout. Beds are comfortable with two bedrooms. The only downside was our room faced an alley that has very bright spot lights on all night. They lit up our rooms just like daylight. There's no elevator, so everything has to be carried up the stairs. Still.. wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

This is the worst hotel I’ve been to and i travel for a living. Upon my arrival no one was there in the "lobby" because Brian the assistant manager was outside playing with his dog for a half hour. This was a prepaid booking (otherwise i would have left immediately). When he eventually showed up- the service was so awful I thought Ashton Kutcher was going to pop-out. I tried to pay the deposit with my Visa card and they said they don’t accept it- I did not have another credit card on me. I offered a $200 cash deposit (all I had on me) but they demanded $300. I was then asked to leave the premises despite having a prepaid reservation - which was sketchy AF. He said that the hotel didn’t charge me anything that only Hotwire did. When I asked for a refund "Brian" refused (clearly on a power trip). I then found out he lied to me about the hotel charge - and I was being charged (his story changed). He said that he did not have the authority to refund me. I then was told I had to wait outside until morning until the general manager showed up. Sketchy place. Never stay here. This is what they spend their time doing - stealing people’s money. What Brian should be doing is cleaning their pigstye of a front office. / lobby.

This hotel was relatively clean and safe but it didn't FEEL relatively clean or safe. The parking lot is sketchy. The staff at the front desk was nice and the neighborhood is cool, though. Also an incredibly loud fire alarm or security alarm went off at 6 am. I tried to call the front desk but the phone had no dial tone. I called the hotel with my cell and no one answered because no one staffs this place overnight. I honestly was excited to leave by the end.

AVOID THIS HOTEL. BE CAREFUL. Please read this review before you decide to book with them. I booked 2 nights in the Hotel Dolce Villa during the labor weekend. My first impression was horrible. The ‘front desk’ is a small room with tons of newspapers all over the room. I arrived around 1 pm and the hotel was closed. I had to call them and the "receptionist" was attending the bar next to the hotel. I’m guessing she is a waitress and receptionist at the same time. During the check in I asked for the free breakfast mentioned on their website. She told me that there is not more free breakfast. I insisted that if the website says free breakfast included with the booking of any room they should give me the mentioned offer since is still on the website. After fighting for my rights she finally gave me the free breakfast. The "breakfast" is not a "breakfast" because the sister restaurant opens at 12 pm. The following day after we were outside the whole day when we returned to the hotel around 10 pm for our surprise the room was not cleaned, the garbage was still there, the towels were not changed, the bed was not made and the coffee machine was not cleaned. Everything was left the same way when we left the hotel in the morning. I informed the situation at the front desk and a guy named Joshua not only did not apologize or send some staff to clean my room but also laughed at me when I requested to talk to the manager or to get a discount for the money I paid since nowhere or at any time were informed that the room would not be cleaned. Even worse he told me laughing at me that due to the COVID they do not clean the rooms every day, only the day of your check in and the day of your check out. For our surprise for the statement he made the next day during the check out informed the situation to the lady at the front desk named Marilyn and again in a very bad way laughing at me again she insisted that nobody will give me my money back or any discount since rooms will clean the day of the check in and the day of your check out because of the pandemic we are dealing with. So, if you stay 5 or 7 days in this "hotel" be careful your room won’t be clean because of the Covid but nobody will tell you when you register or even it is not mentioned on their website. So, be careful if you book with then because they don’t comply with the protocols established for hotels during the Covid-19. You will not see either hand sanitizer anywhere or at the front desk. They are liars and they will take your money without giving you the service for which you have paid. This hotel is not 3.4 stars is less than 1 star.
