Volleyball Tournament weekend here and the Omni did not disappoint. Upon arrival, there were numerous valet employees quickly getting us situated. Brought us up to our large, spacious , airy and clean room ! We asked for a microwave and they brought that up to the room straight away. The location is perfect. Any volleyball parent can appreciate the convenience of a quick nap in between matches as the rooms are just a short distance away. The nicest employees and overall very clean !!! Great job ! Next year we would not think of staying anywhere else … and we travel A LOT for sports :)…
Positive: The size of the room! We’d been in Boston where the rooms are the size of closets and stepped into this one and felt like royalty! Negative: The air did not work well-would not get cooler than 71. We reported at check out but bc we were only there one night we didn’t bother with before hand
Very enjoyable stay! The rooms were well equipped and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. The attention to detail and helpfulness of the staff was the highlight. A shout out to Krista the night manager for making our late night (weather delayed) arrival seamless.
Had a great overnight stay in an emergency where our house lost heat during the blizzard and needed somewhere to sleep for the night. Staff was amazing and accommodating, letting us stay until 1 where checkout is usually at 11. The room was incredibly clean, sheets/blankets were clean, and bathroom was clean. Rooms have bath tub/shower combo.
The only reason I stayed here is the location and the ease of access to the convention center. I stayed there last weekend when it was in the single digits temperate-wise and my heart went out 5 times… in 2 nights. Every time they were kind and attempted to fix it but the problem was never solved. It is a far too expensive place to be freezing the whole time. The front desk and maintenance staff all said they reported it to management more than once. I never heard from a manager, nor were any accommodations made for the mess. We have stayed at the Omni in Providence and other cities several times for cheerleading competitions. This was the second terrible experience. Unfortunately, I have to go back to Providence in March and stay there again. I cannot change hotels, but if I could, I would. It is no where near worth the cost. I complained through contacting the company AND responding to the post-stay survey they sent me. Still no response. To be clear, the staff onsite were apologetic, kind and timely in trying to assist. It’s the management and lack of response from them at all on the local and corporate levels that is the problem.
Went for CiderConference 2026 and very much enjoyed my stay at Omni. Staff was super helpful in getting my room an extra night. Room was clean, bedding comfortable. Did find an old bottle of shampoo in the shower but eh, we are only human. Would definitely stay again if CiderCon came back.
This hotel is advertised as a 4 star hotel and I don’t know why. Staff were helpful and nice so no complaints there. My main issues were with the quality and cleanliness of my room. I will not be staying here again. My bathroom was not clean. I noticed brown splatter all over the underside of the toilet seat on my second evening there, not left by me because I had only spent about an hour in the room since I arrived late the night before. Which meant it had two cleanings prior to me noticing it. I let the desk know and the had housekeeping come up quickly and clean it, but they missed it on the floor. My second major issue was with the shower. Sometimes it was fine, mostly it took 10 minutes to heat up beyond warm, and then once it did it was impossible to get the temperature to remain at a comfortable temperature as it would change from cool to too hot to stay in the shower off and on during the showers. The thermostat does not go below 68 which can be a bit stuffy, even In the winter so I had to sleep with the window open.
