Scott took time to show us the many unique features and history of this 1880s mansion. He and Tami made us feel like family. The bed was very comfortable and the robes and slippers were top-notch. The place was clean and well maintained inside and out.

Five stars is not enough to rate Downen, I wish I could rate it a 10! Great hosts who made us feel at home from the moment we stepped in to the beautiful house. Filled with antique decor and very interesting history of the house. The breakfast was delicious and hospitality overall made us feel very welcome. If you’re trying to decide where to stay in Pueblo; look no further, you won’t regret your stay at the Downen house.

I am so glad I chose to stay here to unwind after a stressful trip! The hosts were so kind and accommodating, and their home was the definition of cozy. I was able to relax again the moment I walked through the door. Can't get more welcoming than homebrewed mead and a dog named Pumba!

The Downen house is well maintained and run by Scott and Tamara. The hosts make your stay pleasant with full breakfast each morning and respect for your privacy. The home has both charm and character with ample space to sit and relax. Perks include a hot tub and mini fridge (stocked with beer, wine and water) There is also a full bar in the living room. My room on the top floor was perfect- cozy and quiet. I recommend staying here as opposed to a hotel. It’s different and private. You won’t be disappointed

Absolutely an incredible stay at a wonderful location. This B&B is marvelous and the hosts, Scott and Tamara, are gracious owners. They gave us the history of the house and the area. The home is in excellent condition, the rooms are clean and bright, and the breakfast was amazing! I highly recommend staying at the Downen Bed & Breakfast when in the Pueblo, CO area! J & GJ
