Royal Inn Richmond Hill- Savannah I-95

The most disgusting hotel I have ever experienced in my entire life. The staff lives there!!! They do not care rooms are filthy stains on the floors, walls, holes in the tub, and stained mattresses. We asked for changed of sheets we were told housekeeping isn’t here we have to do it ourselves. They double charged me and refused a refund. Do not waste your time, or sanity attempting a stay here.

The worst hotel experience I've had in the last decade. Grungy, smelled weird, and entirely overpriced for the sad looking furniture & features. The photos look nothing like the reality. I called the day of to let them know we wouldn't be getting in until after midnight, and it took ~10 minutes for someone to wake up to check us in. There were so many stains on the towels, bedding, & walls. I was legitimately worried about cockroaches & bed bugs. While this is minor in comparison, there were very few outlets - and none on one side of the bed. I don't know how I missed all of the other bad reviews, but the entire experience was awful.

This is beyond a doubt the worst hotel in existence. The room smelled of mildew and human sweat. One pillow was wrinkled and yellowed as if the case had not been changed. The floor had no been vacuumed, there was only one towel with no face cloth, a half a roll of toilet paper, no kleenex in the dispenser. Finally, the water in the shower did not work.

We walked into the room, looked around and walked out. The bed looked clean, but everything else was filthy. The bedside lampshades were caked with dust and stained in sections. The room was very stinky. No amenities, not even a bar of soap. There was only wires where the smoke alarm was supposed to be. No way we're we staying in this room!

They don't clean the rooms very well.. no towels or wash rags. The checkout lady I dealt with in the morning gave me a fake $10 bill. When I brought it to her attention she took it back, gave me a real one and put the fake one back in the drawer right on top. I'd be careful going here.

They do not deserve any stars! I just had to put one so the review will be published. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE STAYING HERE! Not unless you want them to steal your money. We had gotten a room and once we went in the room found out the toilet did not flush. I had walked to the front desk to let them know, so they could fix it or put us in a different room. It was around 230 am. The night clerk was sleeping and I had woke her up, then she proceeded to tell me that the toilet did flush. This is before she even went to look. Being that I was outside I was smoking a cigarette. She then proceeded to tell me that we had to leave because my boyfriend told her there was only one person staying in the room. He said he was not asked how many there were and he did not say. Then she said because I was smoking we had to leave. I was outside! No where near the inside of any room or any part of the building. I would have called the front desk, but the room did not have a phone. We weren’t even in the room 10 minutes. She kept telling us we had to leave. And when asked if she was gonna refund the money and why we had to leave when there was no good reason, she said she was going to call the law. I told her to because I was going to do the same. At this point I am tired and upset because she refused to refund the money. So a few words were exchanged. We hadn’t even sat down on the bed. The room was in same manner it was before we got there. Nothing touched except the toilet which wouldn’t flush. She made us leave and did not refund the money. This is very unprofessional. We had no clue why we had to leave. My guess is she was woke up and had to work. Idk. But with all this being said, I did speak with law enforcement and I will be pursuing this issue in court. They will steal your money. It’s not the cleanest place either. The service was beyond rude. I hope no one else has to experience what we did. I am also going to have them investigated. Something is not right. So please stay away from this place. As I read some of the reviews it makes me wonder how much they are paying people to lie and say this is a great place. They are probably using fake accounts to try and make them look good. But trust me when I say, there is nothing good about this place. I will get to the bottom of this. I am going to talk to an attorney on Monday. I feel they should refund the money and then be held responsible for the costs of the room we ended up getting after they made us leave for no reason. You can’t just steal peoples money and get away with it.

Never stay here again, reserved 2 rooms and both were horrible. First room had broken a/c, tv, and refrigerator. Filthy walls and manager accused my wife of moving a bed over when it was like that when we arrived. I told them room was unacceptable and manager had to come look for herself. She finally agreed to give us another room which was better except for the roaches. 2nd room had a broken toilet flush handle but was also roach inhabited. Towels were paper thin, no kleenex available, Old smell of vomit.|Not worth the money, had the reservation been refundable we would have left.
