Linden Row Inn

On the positive side, the location is excellent - in a peaceful neighborhood, yet I was in easy walking distance to the Convention Center and lots else, with a centrol location for pretty much wherever you’d like to go, as well as decent parking options.  It is also a lovely historic property full of character.  On the flip side of being old, it seems that every door sticks when you try to open or close it and it is not friendly for those who need accessibility, with stairs here and there you have to lug your suitcase up.  Back on the bright side, the little black cat who hangs out around the place is adorable and sweet and made my day whenever I ran into it.

My husband and I stayed the night at the Linden Row Inn on 2-21-26. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. We had breakfast on Sunday morning which ran 2 people approx. $60. bucks plus tip. I had a coffee and my hubby and I had a mimosa each. He had eggs, sausage, fruit & toast, i had French toast and sausage. Seemed a little high to me but we were staying in a lovely hotel and everything was delicious so the price was acceptable. I would stay at the Linden Inn again for sure. We had a nice visit.

What I love about the Linden Row Inn, besides its amazing history, stunning restoration, and sumptuous accommodations, is that the staff is so happy to assist you. They love giving you advice and making sure that you are comfortable. From the minute I arrived, I was welcomed by everyone. Each took extra time to make sure I was comfortable in my room and explained how to park, walk to restaurants, and gave tips on enjoying Richmond to the fullest. Annabelle, the hotel cat, was adorable. My suite was gorgeous with high ceilings and chandeliers. I felt like a celebrity! The location is an excellent home base for exploring!

Such a lovely historic hotel! We enjoyed our stay- especially hearing about the history of the inn, viewing the art exhibit on display and meeting Annabelle, their beautiful resident cat. Rooms were clean and charmingly decorated (great linens). The location was central and great for exploring the area.

My boyfriend and I had the sweetest stay at this hotel! We loved our cozy garden room, it was the perfect spot to unwind. The only thing we needed was a fridge, but that was a minor hiccup. The real highlight was meeting Will at the bar/restaurant - he's a treasure! He gave us fantastic recommendations for exploring VA, since we're actually considering moving here 😊. Overall, our night was absolutely delightful and we'd definitely come back!

I highly recommend choosing the option to receive a book about the Linden Row Inn when you reserve your room! Learning about the site's incredible history while visiting was a wonderful experience. And for a place that's so historic, it's been thoughtfully modernized in the best ways. So it's really comfortable and welcoming, with the amenities we've all become accustomed to, but still feels like walking into history. And the rooms have real keys! I don't know why that charmed me so much, but it did. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Richmond, and will recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and beautiful alternative to a chain hotel.

I liked this place. The bed was super comfortable. My room had everything I needed. Street parking was easy. It's right across from the library. Good price, too. If you like historic stuff, cats, literature, a bar, nice breakfast food, I'd definitely recommend.
