I'm deeply disappointed that I'm hearing all the way from Washington State that a center for at-risk youth would continue to employee a person who has been known to cause harm to others. It's unethical to risk putting those in your care in harms way. Especially for overnight safety when people are at their most vulnerable and should feel safe. It is my hope that these issues will be addressed for the safety of residents and the reputation of the LGBT center. Otherwise, how are we to trust, support, or donate to an organization that knowingly employees an abusive person. Please do better, the LGBTQ+ people in your care deserve better.

I love this place so much, I don't go too often, but on my second day of Q-spot I already felt like I belonged. It is definitely a safe space to talk to and meet people like you. I'm not afraid to be myself there and that's what makes this place so special to me 🙂

As experienced in the past I can not, as advertised, on line. The sitetakes me through the process then times out not letting me make the purchase. Calling the center was no help with excuses. I was told I could just buy them at the gate. That is a pain for us mobility impaired. It has been a couple years because of the similar ticket screw up. I am livid with the incompattable cohesiveness of the centers services and generally any heip.

Never in my life have I felt more unwelcome. I came here for the adult respite offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The first thing I noticed was that the front door was locked during business hours. That should have been my first clue to leave. The receptionist didn't seem to understand what I meant when I mentioned the Lambda Lounge by name. If you visit this place, be sure to mention adult respite specifically. After being checked in, I availed myself to some water and used the restroom. The same receptionist seemed suspicious of me when I walked in to use the restroom for its intended purpose. Oddly enough, someone else who was there for respite asked me if I worked there, to which I responded in the negative. At this point, I could tell the others in the room needed these services more than I did and that I didn't belong here. Feeling uncomfortable, I took my leave of the place, at which point someone informed me that I might not reenter once I left the building. I wish the LGBT Center's website had mentioned that before I paid for more than an hour of parking. I suppose I'll just tackle my depression on my own and risk hospitalization.

I went to farmers market with my granddaughter(pronouns they/them), I was supporting them going into the center and really excited to be a part of this wonderful resource for them. We walked in and the guy signing in my granddaughter, put his arm out and said "this is not a place for you to hang out, this a safe space for youth ". I said I’m with my granddaughter . I turned around and left because I didn’t "as a black woman" feel welcomed at all. Shouldn’t this center be welcoming to all.

We were there last Tuesday at 7pm for the NA meeting. The Receptionist was very cold and rude. It seems as if the NA meeting irritates her. She was quite friendly to other people not there for the meeting, but we both didn't feel welcomed. The feeling of this "center" is cold and unwelcoming. It's nothing like the loving feeling of the old location. Too bad.
