Morning Glory Bed & Breakfast

We had a wonderful stay at the Morning Glory B&B! Bob was a very friendly and welcoming host. The house itself is beautiful - full of charm and perfectly located for exploring Salem on foot. Our room was very tidy and the bed was super comfortable - we slept so well and had a great breakfast to wake up to every morning. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Salem! 🌟

My time staying at Morning Glory Bed & Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Bob is a friendly and helpful host and makes a delicious breakfast to remember! The accommodations in the Elizabeth Howe room were lovely - the comfiest bed ever, plus pretty, antique decor everywhere you looked. The private entrance and harbor views were a bonus! The location was great for walkability to pretty much everything I wanted to see in my two days in Salem. If I'm ever back in the area, I will be choosing Morning Glory again!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A perfect stay for a solo traveler — felt safe, welcomed, and at home! I had an amazing stay at Morning Glory Bed & Breakfast! As a single woman traveling alone to Salem, feeling safe and comfortable was my top priority — and Bob and Willow made that effortless. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home. The bed was so comfortable I fell asleep instantly after long days of exploring. Breakfast was such a treat — homemade granola, warm cheese bread, and the most delicious stuffed French toast. I also loved chatting with Bob and the other guests around the breakfast table; it felt like a friendly little community. The location is perfect — just steps from the House of the Seven Gables, which I hadn’t even planned to visit but was thrilled to discover right next door. Everything in Salem was an easy walk from here, and there’s plenty of free parking, which is a must if you’re driving in. Morning Glory B&B made my Salem vacation special and worry-free. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We are just back from a fantastic stay at Morning Glory B&B. Our host Bob left the keys for us to get settled when we arrived. We stayed in the Sarah Good room. The room had its own lounge area and bathroom. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. We also had our own heating controls so the room was never too hot or too cold. |Breakfast was a great time to have a chat with Bob who we absolutely loved. We put the world to rights around that table and he also had great tips for restaurants and places to visit. The only sad thing about the visit is that we never got to meet Willow but I understand that some guests maybe wouldn't want a dog in during Breakfast. The breakfast provided were absolutely gorgeous. I dont know how Bob does it! We also met a lovely couple from Chicago who were also staying. Its great to meet and chat to people from other countries/areas. So if you read this Bob, we loved our stay. Thanks again xx

We chose to stay at the Morning Glory on our fourth trip to Salem after checking it out on previous trips. It did not disappoint. |The location is literally right across the street from the House of Seven Gables. And it is just a five minute walk from Pickering Wharf and Essex St. |the Owner and host Bob is wonderful. |The rooms are quite comfortable and breakfast is waiting for you in the morning in the dining room. |We can't recommend this B & B strongly enough!!

I could spend too long stating all of the wonderful reasons why you should stay at the Morning Glory but it all comes down to one thing: The host, Bob. He was welcoming, warm, and a great person. My wife and I spent 4 Days in the Sarah Goode Suite, it was excellent and comfortable. Bob's breakfasts were home made and always a treat. Best value for your money as well as best location in a more historic district near the wharf. Wonderfully clean, 11/10!

We loved our three night stay at Morning Glory. We felt so at home in the Sarah Good suite on the top floor as it was so warm and cozy. Bob was the perfect host and made amazing breakfasts which included broccoli quiche with sausages and raspberry cream cheese stuffed french toast. Also Bob had great restaurant recommendations for us. This was the best stay I’ve ever had in a B&B.
