Housekeeping was attentive and friendly, keeping everything spotless without ever feeling intrusive. We stayed here for three nights. The entire hotel was clean and our king suite was spacious. All the front desk staff were very kind as well as the restaurant staff. Great drinks at the bar. We stayed during the off season so it was pretty quiet which was great for us! Very convenient location. If we come back to Salem we know where we will be staying!

Positive: Hotel is perfect location to walk to main parts of Salem, restaurants, tourists attractions, and also the water! It’s very clean, super comfortable beds, friendly staff, and the location was absolutely perfect!!! Negative: The only thing we did not like was not having a fridge or microwave available in our room. Other than that it was perfect!

My room was spacious and clean, immediately upon entry! The bed was super comfortable, the room service was quick and accessible, and the fridge came in handy! Plus, I loved all the towels we got. All of the staff were kind and inviting. So thankful for our stay.

The Main Stay Social located at the Salem Waterfront Hotel is simply the best. Apart from the food and service I want to tell you that their staff, particularly Brianna & Sasha were amazing. There was an incident where someone had an allergic reaction and Sasha and Brianna couldn't be more helpful.. they sprung into action, called an ambulance, provided incredible help making the person comfortable and safe while providing him with everything he needed while help arrived.. and when help arrived they both didn't stop there. They continued to be completely attentive. Two amazing people... a very sincere thanks to you both... On the restaurant side, the food is incredible, the cocktail are made right and are delicious... and the service is incredible.. they got it all right here!

We stayed two nights here in September for our first trip to Salem, and we are already planning another trip! The location is quieter down at the water, but still super close to everything you want to see. (Check out the House of Seven Gables!) We had an issue with the first room when we checked in and the Manager, Michael, resolved it quickly and professionally. On a week long road trip from NJ to ME, this was by far the most comfortable place we stayed. Highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel great location and clean. Staying on the busiest weekend in October i was shocked to see one person waitressing busing and bartending for breakfast . Waited over a half hr to get menu and drinks. How are you understaffed..especially on Columbus day weekend ? Some people left because they didn’t want to wait .
