Music Garden Mansion

Such a great experience and very clean. You can tell the house is maintained regularly not just when guests are in town. We stayed in the lavender suite this time and loved our little space. Each suite has a sitting area, a kitchenette along with your room. Very private with a nice sitting area and hot tub outside. We will definitely be back!!

I really enjoyed visiting with the owner of the mansion. She was so helpful and hospitable. The Mansion is so quaint and comfortable. This was a very reasonable price for so many amazing amenities. Our room was spotless, and we loved our jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was served at our door each day, and it was delicious and thoughtful. We cannot wait to stay here again!! Highly recommend

Had a wonderful weekend at the Music Garden Mansion!! We stayed in the lavender suite and it was so adorable! The property is very well maintained and super clean. The hot tub was nice & relaxing after a long day. Very reasonably priced with a great location. Privacy was also very comforting right now since we haven’t all had the opportunity to get vaccinated. I will definitely be back again when I’m in town!

SO ADORABLE!!!! Extremely clean and very comfortable. Very cute place right off the highway, easy to get to. The owner and hostess were so very welcoming and respectful. The breakfast was very lovely and refreshing. Will stay there again next time we pass thru. We loved it!

Melody is a warm and gracious host. Rooms are elegantly decorated and very comfortable. Highly recommended for a leisure visit to San Angelo. 5*

If you like a fun quirky mansion with a lovely hostess and, good breakfast in a great location, this place is a very good option. About 6 minutes from all the downtown activity. TV was a little issue for us, but a lot of that was user error or lack of knowledge and subscriptions. We would definitely stay here again if travels find us in San Angelo.

We stayed at the Music Garden Mansion in August after being shocked at the prices of hotel rooms in town. After a little research online, we booked our room at the MGM. The price of our room was much more reasonable than most of the hotels, and the location was great for us as we were spending a lot of time downtown. The MGM is an older home with a lot of character which we found quaint and appealing. I would have to agree with Kaia78 that the house was too cluttered and not appropriate for smaller children. One would think that the clutter would be a haven for dust, but we were pleased to find that we never saw any dust anywhere! Our room was immaculate and decorated with some beautiful antique pieces, but it was somewhat difficult to maneuver in with the knick-knacks. Though the decor wasn't necessarily my style, I felt that if they removed about 75% of it, it would be absolutely darling, like staying at your grandmother's house. The bed was incredibly comfortable with beautiful bedclothes and the softest sheets I have ever slept on. The AC was very reliable and cooled the room quickly when we returned from an outing. The shower, while not fancy, had sufficient water pressure and hot water, so felt great. The breakfast in the morning was very tasty and we had a pleasant visit with Melody, who I suppose is the owner, and an interesting person. We did not expect our room to be cleaned so weren't disappointed that our bed wasn't made for us, unlike Kaia78, but ended up making it ourselves in the mornings so we could have somewhere to lay our clothes out. For the price, we'll definitely go back if we need accommodations.
