Pacific Terrace Hotel

The location was absolutely perfect. We could walk to all of our meals, run and walk along the boardwalk, and easily boogie board and surf right nearby. La Jolla was a short drive away, and the airport was super convenient as well.||The hotel itself was amazing, and our room was just perfect. We stayed in a partial ocean view King Junior Suite, and I truly can’t say enough about this fabulous property. The pool overlooks the ocean, which was such a highlight, and we loved being able to use the hotel bikes. They even have an entire closet full of beach toys available for guests to use, which was such a nice touch.||The staff was incredibly friendly from start to finish everyone was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind. An amazing stay all around, and I would absolutely return.

The Pacific Terrace Hotel is an amazing place to stay. We really enjoyed our room and having a wonderful breakfast every morning. The view from our room was excellent! The beds were very comfortable and the staff went out of their way to help us with everything. Great location and enjoyed the short walk down to the ocean and to Crystal Pier. Service was really exceptional. Location was fantastic, and despite being right on the boardwalk and being on the first floor, it was very quiet and you could not hear anything from the room. Super close to Pacific Beach spots for restaurants. Hotel has bikes (including for kids!) that can be used and also has beach chairs and toys for the kids (super easy access to the beach). Highly recommended.

Did a ton of research before choosing this hotel for an 8-night stay. We could not be happier. Ocean view as promised, very friendly helpful staff, location is both gorgeous and convenient with restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Beds are comfy, room is large, ventilation is effective and quiet. If we ever have a chance to return to SD, I cannot imagine staying anywhere else. The staff have made it feel like home for us!

We wanted to just have a relaxing day at the beach and it was our first time to stay at Pacific terrace hotel.We were greeted with this beautiful, charming girl at the front desk -Jasleen, and I made a mistake on the date of booking , instead of 2026 ,I booked it for 2027. She is very nice about it and helped us to have an ocean view room and let us check in early too! Our room is clean, spacious with this amazing view of the pool and the ocean! The king size bed is comfortable, the room has refrigerator, microwave with a nice sitting area at the veranda and we were able to enjoy the most amazing sunset . The whole hotel/ pool area is clean and well maintained. Everyone is nice and welcoming especially the front desk crew. We ended up keeping our reservations for next year of 2027 because we love this hotel. I will definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends.Thank you Jasleen!

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of days while vacationing in San Diego. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and had a beautiful view of the beach. The food from the cafe was fantastic, especially the early morning breakfast on the patio.

The Pacific Terrace Hotel is an absolutely perfect place to stay in San Diego. From the moment we walked in every staff member was friendly and welcoming, throughout our entire stay we had some of the best service we’ve had at a hotel! The location couldn’t be any closer to the beach and it was nice that they provided beach chairs, towels and sand toys for our toddler each day. We also loved the patio off our room where we could watch the sunset. The family suites are perfect if you have young kids since they come with a fridge, microwave, dishes, silverware and a dining table - all of this was helpful when we needed to eat a quick quiet meal in our room! The rooms have everything you need, the pool is heated, the parking is on site and such a luxury that close to the beach, all in all a perfect place. We’ll be back soon!
