Lodge at the Presidio

A night out in my favorite city with impeccable sunrise views is always an inspirational alignment for my artist voice. We checked in floor 2 and our rooms electric circuit went off the moment I turned the coffee machine off, hence my experience with the room wasn’t upto par however Evan at the front desk was a gracious host and immediately accommodated us on floor 3 which used to be an attic so the window view was super small comparatively. The night was restful and I was even able to do some writing. The star of the show was the sunrise and boy oh boy it absolutely nailed and hit the spot right. The European breakfast was cute, not lots of options as per my expectation but my goal was to keep it on the lighter side anyways! Yes, I will come back to this location without a doubt and enjoy my soul self again =)

What a beautiful place! Quiet. Friendly. There's so much to do within walking distance. The sights to see here are amazing. The skyline of SF, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, the bay. It's been a happy surprise. So glad to be back in San Francisco!

We arrived very late at night, exhausted, and had a mix up with our reservation (totally our fault). The hotel was so kind and accommodating, found us another room, and we were incredibly grateful. The beds are extremely comfortable, location is top notch and the breakfast and coffee were delicious. Our first room was dark and cozy, and our second room had incredible views. Both were charming. The hotel is lovely, very clean and extremely well run. All staff we interacted with were great. We’ve recommended it to many people and will stay here again if we get the chance.

Absolutely love the Presidio, we lived there for 17 years, got married at the chapel and spent our first night as husband and wife at the Lodge. Service was honestly underwhelming - no energy, initiative or curiosity. They didn't proactively offer any tips about our stay, even things included - bikes, YMCA access, etc. We'll stay again for nostalgia, but they should take queues on Customer Service given the price tag.

An unforgettable stay! The location, right in the middle of the park with Golden Gate views is absolutely spectacular. The hotel is beautifully designed, spotless, and peaceful. Staff are warm and welcoming. We loved the healthy breakfast, the cozy wine & cheese hour, and the all-day coffee & tea station. Truly a hidden gem in San Francisco! 🌉🍷

Worth every penny especially if you travel with your dog and enjoy having hiking trails right out your door. Excellent service and the breakfast and wine and cheese offerings were plentiful and delicious. The only thing I would suggest is NOT booking a room with a few of the bridge. Unfortunately, between the bridge and your room runs highway 1 and it is obnoxious almost 24 hours a day. Excellent room amenities, definitely a five-star experience.

Our family loves this hotel so much, we went back to San Francisco just so we could stay there. The rooms are very lovely and clean. The hotel is quiet and has a lovely atmosphere, views of the Golden Gate Bridge, is across from a great playground, and adjacent to free transportation to downtown San Francisco. There is a nice breakfast room. Breakfast is European Continental. Evening wine and snacks. No restaurant onsite but there is a restaurant next door and food trucks at the park across the street.
